With all the disaster and damage of this area in coffee county, Douglas GA it makes my heart swell with love and gratitude for all the donations and service that I have seen for people over the last few days.
And The Church of Jesus Christ of Christ of Latter Day Saints knows how to show up and provide service. “God our strength will be, press forward ever called to serve our King”

THANK YOU everyone for the donations, this is a wonderful start!! We are here today and tomorrow for donations, but you can always put things on our porch after hours! We will continue to collect donations as we will be planning another drive in the next few weeks. Doctor Chester and his family are leaving out Friday evening to help Coffee County. Doctor Chester has already been in touch with their local animal shelter! We will post updates throughout the weekend. Thank you for all the love and support… AMC staff🤍

FRIENDS AND CLIENTS!!
We are asking for your help in getting together a care package for those affected by Hurricane Helene The Chester’s are going down to Coffee County GA with their church to help with storm clean up. Coffee County is about 100 miles south of Macon and 60 north of Valdosta. We are leaving this Friday night. As a veterinarian office we will be happy to take any dog and cat food or supplies but of course there is a need for so many things
Diapers, wipes, personal hygiene products (tooth brush tooth paste deodorant, soaps, canned goods, manual can openers, ibuprofen, toilet paper, large garbage bags, bleach any cleaning supplies, sanitizing wipes, socks, tarps, sports drinks, baby wipes, plastic utensils, gloves.
Please bring your cat and dog food donations as well as any other supplies to the clinic 255 Chambers Street Jasper. And of course you are welcome to follow us there if you feel led to do so. Any volunteers should be 14 and up and be prepared to be self sustaining (food, water, transportation, and housing). We aren’t sure if any accommodations are available so bring your tents.
Thank you all for anything you are able to provide. I hope we can fill up our tru with donations. And please pray for all of those affected by this storm and for safety for all the families and volunteers!

UPDATE! Dr Chester wasn’t feeling well this morning, with his cardiac history we felt it best to contact Dr who of course sent us to ER He has passed 2 kidney stones so far. The ER is going to do some bloodwork to check heart enzymes but he’s feeling better already. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for any prayers We plan to see you at clinic tomorrow!

Dr. Chester is having to leave today after 11:30. An urgent situation has come up (not an emergency). If you have a scheduled appointment, the girls should have already called to reschedule.

If you are just needing over-the-counter medication’s or vaccines, you’re still welcome to swing by anytime today 8 to 11:30 or 1 to 4!
