UPDATE 12/18/24:
Surgery was successful!!
C spine was repaired, now healing and fusion are beginning!
Thoracic fracture to be dealt with another day!
The PRAYERS worked! 🙏!

This is The Post I never wanted post. The Sun is going down on my life’s work, Tigerbunny Acres Farm. My body has finally met her match… a misstep and a fall and my neck and back have multiple fractures. Surgery tomorrow and a very long recovery and inability to carry on my chores and duties. Pray for me, please, and I do have a few amazing friends who will step in and help care for the farm and animals until we can successfully downsize and recover. 32 years of helping hundreds of people and their pets is coming to an End. Hug your family!

❤️Adopted and no longer available!

It’s me Amore,
I was rescued from an overcrowded high kill shelter in Texas.
It was really scary there and I felt unsafe. There was a nice volunteer there that tried to comfort me and it helped a little, but I really wanted to runaway. He was very nice and brought me special food and I ate it because I haven’t eaten in days. It was really good and it made my tummy feel better.

Almost Home saw my picture and asked about me. There wasn’t a lot of information on me as I was a stray. A nice volunteer wrote my bio. He said really nice things about me, but that’s all they knew was that I was just a nice dog looking for a good home and scared to death.

Almost almost home had their Transporter pick me up. I went for a very long ride when I got to Michigan I went into the arms of my foster mom. I felt safe.

I am looking for my forever home. Here are some things about me.

❤️ i’m neutered
❤️ I’m up-to-date on all my shots
❤️ i’m heartworm negative
❤️ I weigh about 19 pounds
❤️ I am a scruffy. Little guy may be part Westy or some kind of wire hair terrier.
❤️ I don’t shed
❤️ I love to cuddle I think that’s my favorite thing.
❤️ I am about a year old 
❤️ i’m house trained
❤️ I will sleep through the night now that I’m content. I don’t feel afraid anymore.
❤️ I’m great with other dogs. I never met a cat. But I think I’d get along because I get along with everyone.
❤️ I adore people, big and small.

These puppies were born here 14 weeks ago. The girls are behind gate. One boy was already adopted, five left, and we have 5 screened and approved adoption applications!

Note: Thank you for your support of Apolo! We have over 10 applications for Apollo and are not taking any more. We emailed everyone who applied for Apollo to let them know where they stand.

If you go into the Fort Gratiot PetSmart you will see Apollo curled into a tight ball in the corner. Poor Apollo has a broken heart. He was originally adopted from our shelter in 2016 and due to issues that were not his fault, Apollo was returned to us two weeks ago.

He was never a cat that thrived in the shelter environment because he is shy around new people but it's made all that much harder because he is greaving. Apollo is a cat that loves hard and deeply and this is devastating to him.

Apollo is an extremely affectionate and sweet cat once he trusts a person. We know there is someone out there for Apollo and this will be his last heartbreak. Please help us find the right people for Apollo.

Apollo is 10 years old and front declawed. He has lived with other cats, and cat-friendly dogs in the past.
(He's not angry he has RGF, Resting Grump Face.)

Hi, it's Jackson. Did you know that I have been at the shelter for 2 months? Why haven't I found my home yet? Doesn't anyone want me? Am I not good enough? I try so hard to be good and make everyone around me smile. I'm just a 2-year-old puppy who is so excited about everything. I love everyone I meet and want to be everyone's best friend. I'm active and I would be a great fit for a person or family that loves walks, hiking, and going to the beach because I LOVE water. Everyone here is great but I don't want to spend another month here. I need a family to love. Please help me find them!
