💚Meet our newest student JOEY!!! Thank you Shear Grooming for the referral !!

💚We’ve been working on Some stranger danger 🫨🫣 as Hayden referred Joey’s mom to me as she made an appointment for grooming, and was unable to successfully do the job. As he was too nervous in the space that day. ☹️

We have all been working together as a team, and she has been successfully able to groom him today🥰. I will post updated photos here when they are received. He has been doing great with his basics. Focus, leave it, puppy-push-ups, and more!!

In fact these are indications of whether we are on the right path to cure or not.
Don’t shut down behaviour. Behaviour is happening for a valid reason

A lesson in confirmation bias. Most people believe that MOST dogs are super social and can go everywhere.

A small number of dogs are VERY sociable. But we see them everywhere precisely because they are so very sociable!

The reality is that MOST dogs are selective and do not enjoy "going everywhere" with the family.
