Continuing education is so important…especially in this industry. I strive to give my clients THE BEST- the best of me, the best products, the best results.
When I started grooming in 2020, the world stopped. So much unknown, so much fear. This was actually the biggest boom in my business. Grooming didn’t stop, and so many people got dogs! It was time to hit the ground running.
2020 was full of everything online; and yes, it served its purpose. But it’s so hard to learn a hands on job…virtually.
2021 the world began to re-emerge. This meant trade shows and in person learning opportunities. SuperZoo in Las Vegas was a huge turning point. I needed a different product. I needed better. I wanted to know more about skin and coat, so I took a class! Dr. Cliff Favor with Iv San Bernard led the class, and it spoke volumes; my own dog, Lucy, was going through some skin issues, and I decided to get more information. After hearing what I heard, I decided to try to fix Lucy. It worked! I was a believer in the product. I started the Pet Aesthetician program that they offered. I continued to work with the products and lean heavily on the system they provided, and the people. Suzanne was in my back pocket…answering my what seemed to be 57546756 questions every day, but it made a world of difference. I’m so appreciative of their support. I’m so appreciative of my client and community support.
It is because of this program that I am able to provide better. It is because of this program that I can address an issue with your dogs skin and coat before it becomes a major issue. Am I here to eliminate the vet? ABSOLUTELY NOT, I’m here to work WITH you and your vet to provide the BEST for your dog!
As of Sunday, I’m proud to say that I am a certified pet aesthetician through Iv San Bernard! As Dr. Cliff & Suzanne have said so many times, this isn’t the end of the journey, it’s only the beginning!
