Max has packed his bag and headed home from his two week puppy headstart. While here, we made sure he understood all of his basic commands, started potty bells, and worked on shaping nice behaviors such as sitting for petting and not swiping food from children! Max is a good boy and we can’t wait to see him back for his big boy training!

If you have done lessons with us, you have heard us say we need to load a marker word. What is a marker? It’s something we say to mark that the dog has done something we like. But if we don’t load it, it has no meaning. Here is little Ruby learning that the word, “Yes,” means something good! A marker word is very useful to shape behaviors we like!
