Shelter Connection of Jefferson County is a group of volunteers who network the animals in Jefferson County, Missouri. We currently focus on the 3 small municipal Animal Control facilities - Arnold, Pevely, and Festus. Our volunteers post photos and info of the animals in these facilities who may be lost or are in need of adoption or rescue. Our goal is to network these animals via social media an

d get them back to their home, into rescue or into adoptive homes before their time is up at animal control. We work closely with the Animal Control Officers at these locations and can answer questions about temperament, age, s*x, etc. We are not a rescue group or 501c3. We can not place or take your animals.

Tomorrow is our pet food distribution. If you need pet food or spay/neuter services, you MUST provide a photo ID, proof of low income (in paper form), Social Security, Disability, SNAP, Unemployment, proof of residency (etc.). If your pets are already spay/neutered, please bring a copy of your vet records. Our pantry is for owned pets and feral cats ONLY. 4150 Old State Rd M, House Springs, MO off Old Hwy 21, behind Save-A-Lot and Dollar General. 10-Noon.
