This is a few days into Trixie’s training- she’s doing so great! We’ve started introducing E-collar this week. She loves it! Heeling is a big priority, on and off leash, as well as a reliable recall! We love working with her- she’s so sweet. For the next two weeks, we will be upping the difficulty and solidifying her obedience with the E-collar. 🐶 Welcome Mimosa to our 3 week board and train program! She’s a two year old cockapoo who needs a little help communicating. Before starting her board and train, we did a few private lessons to work on some behavioral things. She’s now with us to solidify her obedience, and to be ecollar trained!☝🏼 Day one looked like this- building some trust, getting her in a good mindset, working on some engagement, helping her become more confident. 💭 The first thing we have to focus on is the dog’s brain. I don’t know about you, but when I’m anxious, I can’t learn a darn thing. 🐾 This is Midnight! A two year old mini Aussiedoodle! His owner came to us and said he was super fast, with tons of energy and thought some agility training might be beneficial for him. ☝🏼The first thing we had to teach him was luring. 🐶 We’ve been working with Sunny’s off leash training, and today on this quiet trail, we decided to test it! Our Malinois, Mavis, has been trusted off leash for over a year now. Letting Sunny loose is trusting our relationship and ONLY using the e-collar IF she ignores her verbal commands. Her happyness and energy went way up as soon as she earned her freedom! She nailed it. 🐾 Sometimes when we’re training we have to simplify things as much as we possibly can. Mimosa is a very timid dog. We’re here to establish a foundation of confidence building drills while teaching her obedience basically at the same time! 🐾 Here we are starting to shape “Place”. Now just because Mimosa will go on her bed at home, doesn’t mean she will in a strange environment with strangers staring at her - would you? 🍖 So to help her, we show her - with a little motivation! 🤔 You’ll notice how we think it’ll go, till Dakota realizes she’s not even interested in jumping on there, how do we simplify it for her to want to do it?
