Such a great time on our field trip to such an amazing shelter!🐾

Just wanted to say thank you again to this PAWSOME team from the BESTEST vet clinic a rescue could have!! Y’all were unbelievable!! In 2.5 hours 19 dogs were seen, 18 exams were done including age estimates 18 sets of vaccinations were given, 9 heartworm tests were done along the way there was a lot of fun, a lot of laughs and it was a great way to spend the afternoon!! I will share all the findings in another post because I’m trying to get to a place where I can talk about the distressing part of the exams and just what these babies have been through without landing in Facebook jail!!
Dr Zach, Kristina, Carly and Angelique take a bow for hard work to make this easier for us!! Y’all make rescue a little easier for us on a daily basis!! I love y’all bunches!!! ♥️🐾♥️🐶♥️

🚫 What Not to Do:

1. Don’t Allow Fights: Separate the dogs immediately if things get heated.

Check out these 9 tips from the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (APCC) to make the most of your walks and keep your pet happy and healthy:

1. Aim for 30-60 minutes a day based on your pet’s health and age.

2. Avoid letting your pets ingest anything on your walks.

3. Always use a leash and collar with proper identification, including a microchip.

4. Watch for signs of heat stroke: excessive panting, difficulty breathing, drooling, weakness, or collapse.
