We have a Mama and pup up at the Clinic that need their Furever Home!❤️Sweet Rose is about 3 years old and does well with cats! She is very smart and loves attention. Little Bud is her baby boy and is cute as a button! ❤️They both have amazing personalities and tremendous potoential. Call the Clinic if you are interested!

We are smack dab in the middle of summer in the South and SVS has already seen numerous cases of heatstroke.

If your pet is experiencing any of the below symptoms head to the clinic or emergency clinic immediately after

1- pouring cold water on feet
2- using towels soaked in cold water to drape over pet
3- turning air conditioning on high in the car on the way to the vet

The most important thing is not to expose your pet to the elements! Exercise them later in the evening when temps settle down and the sun is not as severe. Keep water available and access to shade. Watch those paws on hot surfaces too! SVS wants you and your pet to have a happy and healthy summer!

Do you live in the vicinity of downtown Jefferson? The Freedom Festival is this weekend, June 24 starting at 5 and fireworks beginning at dark. Be sure to call us THIS WEEK to pick up Friday June 23 if you need medications to ease your pets anxiety. Thank you!! 🇺🇸🐾🇺🇸

Billie is a beautiful lab mix up for adoption through Dirt Road Doggies! Completely vetted, spayed and yearly shots- she is ready for her furever home! Her best option is to be part of a single dog family. She is full of energy and loves to play! She will make a great addition to a family.
