Little man Bijon is in foster and she groomed his sweet little face and feet - what a handsome fella! Nails will be trimmed another day, but he's looking dashing, and apparently loves to cuddle:)

And there goes Bijon...our newest adoptable! He's currently in foster after his vetting, getting to be a house dog! Arrangements will need to be made to see this little guy:)

Our Great Dane mix boys, Buzz and Woody, are getting neutered Tuesday, so for those of you who offered and are seriously interested in fostering, please go to our website and fill out the adoption questionnaire. I think we may have a foster for one of them, so potentially we just need a foster for the other. However, if you aren't picky, any of the other 9 dogs could use some foster time too:) But we're most concerned about Buzz and Woody, to get them up to weight and have some socialization and love! Thank you!!!!!!!

We received another wonderful Chewy donation today - more food for our ever-growing number of dogs! Sadly, we have another stray to feed today, but hoping his owner claims him, fingers crossed! THANK YOU to everyone who donates dog and cat food to us - we really need it for all our animals! We don't know who you are to properly thank you all, but we want you all to know we REALLY APPRECIATE your generosity!

COURTESY POST ONLY! This dog is in Bayard and they are trying to find its owner. If anyone knows anyone from that direction, please share. He's on hold until Monday and their 7 day hold is up! We can't take him and Guthrie County no longer has a shelter! It's just sad...owners, you need to be responsible for your pets!!! Thanks for sharing this post, 🤞🤞🤞 his owner steps up.

Huge thank you to the Carroll Shelter - they took in the female!

Ok folks...your help is needed! These 3 dogs were just brought in from Bagley. 1 female, 2 males. Obviously no chips, tags, nothing! Skin and bones, acting like they've a been beaten! Also, obviously should not be returned, but we now have no room...zip, zilch, zero!!!!! This is beyond ridiculous that someone does this! CAN ANYONE HELP??? We desperately need fosters for our PAWS dogs, to make room. Any other shelters or rescues that have any room - we would appreciate your help!!!And please save the negative comments...PAWS is so overwhelmed with dogs and cats right now that we're about wiped out! We need help, not negativity! Thank you!

We have two new cats at the shelter, both found stray in Jefferson, does anyone recognize them? The kitten is from Hillcrest and the adult is an intact male from S. Oak. We can't continue taking in cats at this rate, and we are BEGGING people to be responsible with your pets. Don't let them reproduce, and if they reproduce, don't turn them out to fend for themselves. PLEASE!

Well folks, it has finally happened. Our Sailor boy has finally found his forever home that he waited such a long time for! He is doing amazing in his new home and loved by all. Thanks so much Corynn and family for giving him such a great home. Way to go, Sailor! 😍

And more good news - we now have a can collection site at our local Bomgaars - woop woop! It's another way to donate - just save your refundable cans and bottles (no glass please!) and drop them off when your bin at home gets full. HUGE thanks go to Nikki's Nickels and Bomgaars for allowing this to happen! And if you didn't already know this about PAWS, 100% of these proceeds go towards the care and treatment of the dogs and cats at the shelter, so this is a wonderful fund-raising opportunity for us! The bin sits at the north entrance to the store - check it out😍🤩❤️🐱🐶

Look what Beckum and his friends donated to PAWS today❤ Thank you Beckum, and Happy 4th Birthday from the dogs & cats at the shelter!🥳🥰🤩 Apparently Beckum loves dogs, and he asked for donations for his birthday! A big Thank You to his mom & dad too - we greatly appreciate it!

Just a cute FYI - a little human wanted his birthday party at the dog park:) The park is open still today, but just be aware from 10:30am - noon, there will be lots of kids and dogs there as well 🥰 What fun for all🥳

COURTESY POST ONLY! These 3 cats are not at the shelter but need rehomed. Their owner passed away and family can't keep them. All 3 are spayed, one is 3 years old, two are 7 years old.
