Well - we said goodbye to an icon today! Barbara our shop cat went to her new home with Dr. Nims 🥰 We can't be more happy for her, but the little vixen tugged at all our heart strings at some point in time! Even the "dog people" fell in love with her quirkiness 🤪 Enjoy your new life sweet Barbs - we'll miss you, but will enjoy the updates!

Anybody recognize these 2 dogs? Both are male, one poodle and one young border collie mix? Both look well fed. Poodle looks very newly groomed with a nice collar! They are coming to the shelter tomorrow morning, but were found near 320th and J Ave near Jefferson.

UPDATE-She has been adopted!
This adorable girl needs a home. She is not at the shelter but turned up stray and has temporarily been taken in by a very caring person, who wrote the following ---Look at this adorable little cat. She needs a home! Today, she was spayed, so no kittens or roaming tom cats for her. She sits on my lap and gives me nose kisses, uses her litter box, and just fills my heart with joy. But, my cat Paco is not friendly to other cats. She needs a family to love her.

If you are interested, please let us know and we will put you in touch with her caretaker.

Got some wonderful, heartwarming news today! The people who adopted Buzz, the sweet Great Dane mix (brother of Woody) have also adopted their sister Bella from the Carroll shelter! How cool is that?! All 3 will be forever pals, as it was another family member who adopted Woody ❤ Here are Bella and Buzz...enjoy all🥰
