Allison Lane Animal Hospital was built and founded in 1973 by Dr. Dean and Joanna Steider. Through hard work and great dedication, they established Allison Lane Animal Hospital as a vital part of the Jeffersonville community.

Nobody claimed this beautiful girl so we are moving forward with finding her a home! She loves to lounge around and relax in her bed, she’s also very sweet and talkative. She loves getting pets and will roll on her belly for you! We know she came from a shelter so we are almost positive she is spayed. We will have her up to date on vaccines and she tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Reach out at 812-283-4910 if interested!

We found this girl hanging out in our parking lot. We have seen her a couple times before. She is extremely friendly and very talkative. If this is your cat or anyone you knows cat please contact us at 812-283-4910. She has a microchip but it has never been registered.

Our favorite appointment of the week is Maverick! He likes playing fetch with his brother. Maverick likes going to his GiGi’s house and playing in her backyard with all of her dogs. Maverick is always so sweet and well behaved when we see him. Knowing he is coming in to see us always puts a smile on our faces!!🐾❤️🎾

Meet our favorite appointment of the week Chase! He loves Blue Buffalo treats, he loves to go camping and he is a huge snuggle bug! Chase is always full of personality when we get to see him and always puts a smile on our face!🐾❤️⛺️

Meet our favorite appointment of the week Mimi! Mimi has been in her family for about 20 years. She loves being outside in the summer heat and taking herself for little trots around the yard. She also loves barking at the mailman, eating pupperoni chews, getting snuggles and warm baths (she equally loves digging and rolling in the dirt right after her baths) She has a boxer brother that is much bigger, but Mimi always manages to steal his bed! Mimi is always so sweet and polite when she comes to see us at the clinic and everyone is always excited to see her!❤️🐾☀️

Our favorite appointment of the week is Poppy. She loves to play hide n seek and liquids herself into the most ridiculous places. It’s a good thing her owners checked their suitcase before they left for vacation!! Poppy is a newer client at the clinic and we are so excited to watch her grow❤️🐾🧳

Meet our favorite appointment of the week Maggie! She loves laying out in the sun, trips to the lake, being outside and eating all the treats she’s able to get from those around her. Maggie is always very sweet when she visits us and makes sure to take time saying hello to everyone. It is always a pleasure to see her on the schedule!❤️🐾☀️

Meet our favorite appointment of the week Molly! Molly was born on April 25th and is 2.5 pounds. She loves her snoopy and bear soft toys. She also loves cottage cheese on her puppy chow. Molly was very well behaved when she came in to meet us and one of the cutest puppies ever! We are so excited for this new addition to the family!❤️🐾

Get to know us, Bella has been an assistant with us for about a year now. She likes to crochet, she even crochets hearts for clients! She also enjoys hiking at Charlestown State Park, going fishing and being outdoors. Her favorite part about working at Allison Lane is helping local people with their pets!

Meet our favorite appointment for this week Rip, full name being Rip Van Winkle The Meathead! Some of his favorite things to do are go on VERY short walks, snack on blueberries and get in the bath tub! Rip also enjoys pup cups, loves peanut butter and loafing around on the couch. Rip is always a perfect gentlemen when we see him at the clinic and seeing his name on the schedule always give us something to look forward to🐾❤️🫐

Our favorite appointment this week is this sweetheart Venus! Venus loves to spend every possible moment with her favorite humans. She LOVES to take car rides, especially to go and see all of her human friends at Allison Lane. When Venus gets excited, her wiggle butt can get going so fast that she often times spins herself in circles. Venus is always so excited to see us and it always makes our days better seeing her wiggle butt in action. No matter what she is always happy when she visits the clinic and always leaves the staff smiling! ❤️🐾

Meet our favorite appointment of the week Bugs! He lives up to his name and has become quite the bug spotter. He always guards the kitchen and is quick to spot any critters so his mom doesn’t have to! Bugs loves playing fetch. He always follows his mom to bed and sleeps at her feet. He also loves to look outside and watch birds, but enjoys to AC too much to actually go outside!! It is always a delight when Bugs and his family come to see us, we have known him since he was a kitten and it’s been amazing to see him and his personality grow. ❤️🐾🐞🐛

Meet our favorite appointment of the week Rocky! Some of Rocky’s favorite things to do include sleeping, going camping and taking car rides. He also enjoys barking at nothing. Rocky is the definition of a good boy every time he visits us at the clinic and he’s always excited to say hello to everyone. It’s always a delight to see him.🐾❤️🏕️

HEADS UP! OUR WEDNESDAY HOURS ARE CHANGING!

Starting this month, our Wednesday hours are changing. Due to staffing issues, we will be closing on Wednesdays that we do not have a doctor scheduled. We will be closed the next two Wednesdays (5/15 and 5/22) and all Wednesdays in June. We will be open full hours on Wednesday May 29th (8:30 AM-6 PM, closed from 12-1 PM for lunch). Starting in July, we will be open all Wednesdays full hours with a relief doctor on staff. Please plan any medication and food needs accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience. Meet our favorite appointment of the week Ella. His favorite treat is anything as long as you say good boy when you hand it to him! He loves playing with his kid in the backyard and also plays tag with the cat inside from one side of the house to the other. His nick name is chu chu if you’re struggling with his pronouns! Ella always has perfect manners when he visits us and is such a good boy!❤️🐾

Greta is the new favorite appointment of the week!❤️ She is a 5-year old Boston Terrier who is always ready to give kisses. She will stop at nothing to give everyone she sees a kiss. She was adopted from Boston Terrier Rescue when she was 2-years old. Before being adopted, her foster mom was a groomer so she is very tolerant of nail trims. She loves to chase squirrels, rabbits and opossums in her yard. She enjoys running after us in the exam room to give her attention. Hope you find the video of Greta playing with our staff members Chloe and Megan amusing! We love when she visits us at the clinic!☺️🐾
