For Adoption! We’re looking for a great home for Buddy. He’s about 9 months old, neutered and vaccinated. He has been with us a few weeks and has charmed us! He loves people and has even enjoyed meeting many of the workers on our construction project! He walks nicely on a leash and knows how to “sit”. We think that he’ll do best in a situation where there’s lots to do and learn, and where he’ll be given structure to help him thrive.

🚧 🚧 Exciting News at Hopewell Veterinary Hospital! Work has started on our renovation project! We are building a new reception area, adding three examination rooms, reconfiguring interior spaces and adding additional parking. Our goal is to improve our building while maintaining its historic character so we can continue to serve people and pets in our community for MANY years to come. 🚧 🚧

YES! We are open during our construction project!

Boarding: We are not currently taking new boarding reservations. As the project progresses and our kennel reopens, we will resume taking reservations for boarding dogs, cats and other small pets.

The came to us from an overcrowded rescue shelter in Georgia and are looking to find their forever families here! Ella Sue is female, slightly darker in color with shorter legs. These two pups were brought to us from an overwhelmed shelter in the path of Hurricane Helene. Now they’re looking for their people!

Greece is a brown and white beagle mix. She is 19 pounds, spayed and heartworm positive. Her new people will need to commit to bring her back to Hopewell for heartworm treatment (at no cost). She is adorable and sweet!

Helene is a 2 year old black mix breed dog. She weighs 25 pounds full-grown! She is sweet and a little shy, but ready to love!

We are still looking for homes for Bianca and Delilah (sisters) and Ophelia.

Bianca and Delilah are now around 5 months old and up to date on vaccines. We would love to see them go to a home together as they are a bonded pair.

Ophelia has been with us close to a year now, and although we adore her, we would love to see her in a forever home. She’s a very sweet and playful gal but would do best in a home without dogs. She doesn’t love other cats but has tolerated them without fuss.
