It’s a n honor to get to represent the Oklahoma Brangus Association and help tomorrow’s breeders exhibit their hard work in raising excellent cattle!

We would like to introduce the 2023 Superintendent of Junior Livestock Shows, Matthew Barton. Matthew will represent the Oklahoma Brangus Association and serve as the Brangus Superintendent at Oklahoma Youth Expo, Oklahoma State Fair & Tulsa State Fair.

Matthew is a graduate of OSU in Ag Economic & International Marketing and has 34 years of experience in the cattle industry; raising numerous breeds including Brangus, Angus & Simmental. He has also been of the show side of the aisle, exhibiting cattle, sheep & horses. He, his wife and 2 kids reside in Stillwater and manage their family ranch in Silver City. On the side, Matthew enjoys being a local philanthropist and business owner, as well as serving his church and faith.
