I am beside myself with excitement with this fluffy little teddy bear, which happens to be the very first calf born @ Shady Pines💗 She is gorgeous!🤗

Your hoof prints may fade with time, but the ones you left on our hearts, Stanley, will last forever. You will forever be the face of Shady Pines and we will miss you so much.
Today our precious Stanley joined the herd in the sky. We had to make the agonizing decision to let Stanley go and relieve him from his pain and suffering.
A few months ago, Stanley suffered a back injury. At the time, the extent of the injury was unknown, we tried several therapy options and talked with many experts. Even with the extra TLC, Stanley did not improve. It was determined he suffered a broken vertebra and would not recover from his injury.
This was one of the hardest decisions we had to make, but as much as we love Stanley, we couldn’t bear to see him in pain.
Stanley, you were the beginning of a dream come true. You were the star of the show. We have so many precious memories with you. And even though you are no longer with us here, you will live forever in our memories as the founding father of Shady Pines. Love you my sweet boy🩶
