Still here! Just finished the final paperwork for the barn fire. Felt good about that then we were hit with another blow. Our insurance company notified us that they are not renewing our policy. That gave us a few weeks to find other coverage. We met with a new agent yesterday and didn’t feel good about finding a company to take us on. These insurance companies can just drop you with no explanation. We have been with the company for 40+ years. Even getting a loyalty discount. Only one small claim during that time and then the fire. Apprehension and prayers overnight and we were blessed to learn there is a company that will give us insurance. Thank God just have to find out how much it will cost. Needless to say we are exhausted but have made plans to start construction on a new barn. Hoping that project goes smoothly. Your prayers will be welcomed. You know hugging our doodles gives us good feelings. Blessed to have them with us.

I apologize for not being very active here on our doodle page. Life has been busy and complicated. Trying to spend family time and the arrival of a new great grandson takes it's tole on Facebook time. Larry is busy with his goats and trying to set plans for replacing space to accomplish the tasks that the barn we lost offered. I myself continue to have increasing and ongoing issues with chronic pain and just getting around. We have done some soul searching and decided not to have the litter planned for fall. Tammy, our golden doodle is the only breeding female remaining at Bairfoot Pines. Based on her litter history she could give us two more litters. We don't plan to get another female to replace her. Plans at this point are to breed her on her spring 2025 cycle and possibly one additional breeding cycle. We are still considering plans for a 2024 Puppy Party but have not made a final decision. I intend to try to be more regular at keeping the Bairfoot page going as it provides contact with our Bairfoot Doodle families. We really do enjoy following our puppies.

Hopefully you will all understand the thought process behind our decisions and keep sharing you adventures with your doodles.

Doodle puppy party 5 years ago

I am sad to let our Bairfoot family know that we lost one of our doodle moms. Paula Noyes passed away May 21st. Paula was mom to Chumley a puppy from our first litter. I had a beautiful note from her daughter sharing the joy that Chumley brought to her life. Chumley is grieving the loss of his mom and could use our prayers as he and Paula’s family grieve their loss.

We are still here just busy tying up loose ends from the fire. Doodles are good. We will be planning a new litter in the fall. Everyone is welcome to to post updates on their doodles. That will help to keep our page alive while I get this fire business settled.
