Meet Dr. Bianca Benfante, our newest addition to the Sage team! 🐾❤️

Originally from Staten Island, Dr. Benfante graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in May 2023. From childhood days spent digging up salamanders and sandcrabs, her love for animals has always been strong. Although she explored fashion and studio art in high school and college, her passion for being a voice for animals took the lead. Over the past year, Dr. Benfante completed a small animal rotating internship at a specialty and emergency hospital in New Jersey and earned her certification in veterinary acupuncture from Chi University. Her veterinary interests include Integrative Medicine and Cardiology. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, shopping, and expressing her creativity through painting, party planning, and crafting charcuterie boards. Dr. Benfante recently relocated to Jersey City with her boyfriend, their Italian Greyhound (Rigatoni), Boxer/Pit (Cavatelli), and two corn snakes (Louis & Wishy). She’s thrilled to be part of the Sage family!🐶🐱✨
