This PAGE was originally dedicated to those who grew up in JERSEY CITY (40's, 50', 60's, 70's, 80's and early 90's) and continue to be proud of where they started. As of 2/9/2012, we will now acknowledge Jersey City in the modern day era and focus on the current events that helped to develop Jersey City. The PAGE NAME
will now be called I LOVE JERSEY CITY. The group honors Jersey City's modern era and will now highlight the communities and individuals who continue to make Jersey City a special place today. Members of this group recognize that JERSEY CITY does not need reality shows to attract businesses. Members of this group are proud Jersey City residents who create their own drama and don't need someone from the cast of a reality show TV to prove how good Jersey City is. The group will provide new residents, longtime residents and former residents a chance to see Jersey City in it's entirety. The group will feature all the good things that JERSEY CITY has to offer.....new buildings, new businesses, new residents, updated transportation systems. Members continue to appreciate the army of Jersey City teaching professionals who work tirelessly to guide us during grammar school and high school, members remember the local sports hero who went on to the collegiate level. Members may live in Country Village, Society Hill, Greenville, The Heights, Marion, Journal Square, Lafayette, Westside and Downtown
Members may have been born in Jersey City Medical Center, got stitches at Christ
Members may have had grandparents or uncles, aunts and cousins who are long time Jersey City residents and they spent their summers or weekends in Jersey City....Members know what a Hawk, Blue Devil, Ram, Bulldog, Marauder, Knight, Tiger, Cougar, Lion and a Friar
Jersey City is a special place to this group.............no matter where they are today
