Meet Sage! 👋

Sage is sweet 1 year old, 35 pound mixed breed with a heart full of love and a spirit that’s ready to blossom. Named after Jersey City’s own , Sage’s journey began in a tough spot. She was found tied to a pole in Queens, New York, with clear signs of neglect. A kind hearted Good Samaritan brought her to safety, and now she’s on her way to a better life.

Though she’s understandably a bit shy at first, Sage warms up quickly once she feels safe, especially if you’ve got a tasty treat in hand! She’s incredibly sweet and affectionate, eager to be loved and give love in return. While she’s still working on gaining some much needed weight, she’s already showing her true, cuddly nature.

Sage may have had a rough start, but she’s ready for a fresh beginning. With a little patience and a lot of love, she’s going to be a fantastic companion. Could you be the one to help Sage continue her journey and see her truly thrive? Come meet this sweet girl, she can’t wait to meet you! 🥹

Sage’s is microchipped, and up to date on all core vaccines.

Meet Xena! 👋

This 5-7 year old, 75 pound brindle beauty is pure sweetness wrapped in a pittie package. Despite being found tied to a pole and brought to the Queens ACC, Xena has held onto her gentle, easygoing spirit and quickly became a shelter favorite.

Now in foster care, Xena continues to impress everyone with her calm, loving demeanor. She’s crate trained (sleeps and eats in her crate), potty trained, and knows her basic cues like “sit,” “paw,” “crate,” and “down.” She’s also incredibly mellow, spending most of her day lounging and soaking up the love.

Xena absolutely adores people, snuggles, pets, and belly rubs are the way to her heart. She’s been great with the kids she’s met and does best with slow, thoughtful introductions when meeting other dogs.

Looking to add a laid back, lovable companion to your life? Xena’s your girl.

Xena’s spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all core vaccines.
