Today we lost a member of our family. Voostie lived in our back porch and spent his days in our landscaping, sunning poolside, & avoiding anything barn or barn animal related!! My favorite thing to do was when I was home alone Is let him in the back door and he would come in the living room, sit by my chair, and pretend to watch tv. (I’d sneak him in any chance I got.) He had some pretty wicked health conditions that did require extra care. He basically died a couple years back but together we fought and he made a full recovery. He and I were bonded from then on. He was a once in a lifetime pet. (House roosters aren’t the easiest sell to my wife). He had presents under the tree, his own custom corner of the room, a silly personality, and the ability to make me feel loved and appreciated.
He was my family and I his.

I guess not all days can be wagging tails and slobbering kisses! Ryan gave the inside play area a good scrub down so our furry friends can come and dirty it up tomorrow when daycare starts. It’s never too late to have your pup join in the fun!
