You can leave the farm for a few days but I promise farming will follow you, Hunter in Michigan at a local dairy farm near his grandparents.

Did you know Michigan has over 1,100 dairy farms? That’s more than 430,000 cows producing milk daily.

Maryland has roughly 300 dairy farms still producing today, which hold roughly 40,000 heads in total.

Fun fact about honey bees! Bees, are mostly attracted to flowers that have white, yellow, blue, or ultra-violet blooms, these little guys show a preference to visit flowers of just one species during a foraging trip.

How is nectar turned into honey? Nectar is stored within their stomachs & is passed from one worker to the next until the water within it diminishes. At this point, the nectar becomes honey, which workers store in the cells of the honeycomb.
