I know everyone is excited for the fourth! As everyone gets prepared and ready to celebrate, remember to update your dogs id tags and or micro chips! July 4th can be extremely scary to these babies. So call your vets office this week and make sure everything is up to date. Or you can see if they have any room to board them over the weekend to ensure their safety. If your babies will be staying at home remember to bring them inside. Take them into a room in your house where you can keep them calm and comfortable. Like a laundry room or bathroom. You can give them Benadryl to help ease anxiety. For dogs you dose 1mg per pound. So if you have a 25 lb dog, you can give the one 25mg Benadryl tablet. If you don’t think Benadryl will work on your dog, you can call your vets office and get them to prescribe them something for anxiety that will help them over the weekend. I hope some of this information helps! 😊 let’s keep these babies safe and comfortable!
