We want to makes sure everyone has the necessary information in reference to microchips with Save This Life Microchips. Please see below that was sent to all clients via email.

We want to inform you of an important update regarding Save This Life Microchips. The company has unexpectedly shut down and unlinked its database from national registries.

What You Need to Know:
The microchips themselves remain safe and functional.
However, due to the database shutdown, pet owners must take immediate action to ensure their pet's microchip information is accessible.

What You Need to Do:
To prevent any issues if your pet ever goes missing, please re-register your pet’s microchip number as soon as possible at www.freepetchipregistry.com. This free registry is connected to the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool, ensuring your contact information is available when scanned.

If you do not re-register your pet’s microchip, there will be no way to retrieve your contact information should your pet become lost.

We will be open with modified hours for Thursday. We will be open from 1pm to 5:30pm. If you already have a scheduled morning appointment someone will be contacting you to move it to the afternoon or rescheduling to a different day and time. When out on the roads, drive carefully and stay safe. It’s still pretty sloshy out there. 🥶

Due to the possibility of sleet/snow, freezing rain and slippery roads, we will be closed Wednesday the 22nd. We are planning to be open Thursday the 23rd for our normal business hours unless roads are not drivable. We will update you with any information on our page. Please call before you come on Thursday morning to make sure we are open. If you don't have to be out on the road, stay home and be safe.

Thank you to all that donated pet food and treats for our Pet Food Drive for North Carolina! I saw on Facebook Wayne County Concerned Citizens, that Kylie McGregor, with Hospice of Southeast Georgia was collecting donations and taking a shipment to North Carolina on December 14th. One short phone call later and we had a food pick up scheduled. Below you can see that Kylie, Kaylee and Adrianne filled up the back of this van with pet food. That is pet food in all of those boxes provided by Hills! Thank you to Kylie McGregor, Kaylee Mosley and Angie Sturgill for all of your kindness and efforts in taking all of these collected items to the people of Asheville, Black Mountain and Swannanoa. May God bless you and keep you safe! There is still one more day to donate if you would like. You can take items to Hospice of Southeast Georgia. I know they still need propane for heating and cooking. Contact Kylie for a list of needs 912-432-9399.
