We know with recent lay offs in the area and some increase in prices of essentials some families are falling short each month. We would like to offer some suggustions to make sure all members of your family, including 4 legged ones are getting what they need.
1. Do not skip preventative care. It is much cheaper to prevent a illness than treat one. If you need to buy your heartworm, flea and tick products by the month, that is fine. We enjoy seeing our clients and will be happy for you to get a month at a time.
2. If your pet is experiencing signs of illness, it is always cheaper to call at the begining of signs. The longer your pet is sick, the more complication and testing and course of medication needed.
3. If your pet is sick for 3 days and you need to call as an emergency, it is going to be higher. Also we do have limited on what diagnostics that can be preformed, so you may need to come back the next day for some testing when we are fully staffed. We are open and have regular hours Monday through Friday and Saturday morning to accommodate our clients.
4. Please do not go off of your pets special diet. Buy a smaller bag at a time. Ask if there are any current coupons. We try to use all coupons and rebates to help you out that we can find.
5. If you are a established client ask us about payment options. We can also point you in the direction of other resources available in the county.
6. Please use your vet as your source of information regarding your pets health. Not the internet or the local animal expert that has no formal training. It is more costly to correct mistakes than get correct diagnosis.
Finally, we know you.love your pet and let's work together to keep them happy and healthy.
