The Schitt's Creek Pups had their vet visit yesterday! You know what that means... puppy wagons! That's right, 2 wagons for 7 Pups! The after pics are the best! These are some lazy Pups! Except Alexis! She let's you know what she wants!
So we have 5 applications for 7 Pups. I don't know who the last 2 will be left, so you are welcome to send us your application to meet them tomorrow! Lab mix. 9 weeks old.

Honeybee is at her foster home in her favorite spot, on the couch. Surgery went well. It was a tough one as the injury was so old and lots if scar tissue. But she will be ok and she has her leg!
HUGE SHOUT OUT AND THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT DONATED FOR HER SURGERY!! ❤️❤️ You guys never cease to amaze me.. I have no words to express my gratitude...
We'll post updates as she recovers!

Zildjian is still available for adoption! I can't understand why this sweet boy is still here. Now 16 weeks, 4 mos old. He is sweet, kind and loves other dogs. He is silly & playful but has that laid back Pyrenees, hound temperament. Crate trained! He needs his family!

Meet Chase! He is 2 yrs old. 1/2 corgi, 1/4 pug & 1/4 pomeranian! 😁 He is happy, extremely friendly, loves kids & other dogs! His foster family says this:

"Meet Chase, he’s 2 years old and is the most adorable 23 lb dog you’ve ever seen. Without fail, when we take him places, at least one person stops and asks about him or comments on how cute he is. He elicits smiles from complete strangers on a daily basis.

Legend has it he’s part Pomeranian, Corgi and Pug and you can see each of those breeds in him. He has a Pug’s face and tail and a Corgi’s stature, so he’s a great size - not too big and not too small.

He has an incredibly sweet disposition and gets along well with other dogs - he has been submissive from the interactions we’ve seen. He could benefit from having a sibling to play with and to “show him the ropes”. Chase does need some time spent training him but he’s a smart dog and will most likely catch on quickly. He is crate trained.

He’s a good walker but also enjoys going after squirrels so he definitely needs to stay on his leash.

Overall, he is such a great little dog and his new family will be so lucky to have him!"

He wears a belly band as his original owner had very young children and she was not able to take the time to house train him. I think having another dog will help him learn and work on your part too!

We have found a vet to do Honeybee's FHO surgery for $1,675! She is scheduled for 8/15! She gets to keep her leg! Thanks to a generous donor, we are only short about $300. If you'd like to donate towards her surgery, please click the donate button below! Please remember, she is not our only dog we are caring for. Any amount donated will not only cover the cost of Honeybee's surgery, but help us continue to care for the dogs & pups we still have. Cassie went to the vet today for ear infection & annual vaccines. Toby has a growth on his eye that needs to be removed. Charley just went to the vet, Lizzie too. And the 7 Schitt's Creek Pups go next Thursday. There is so much that doesn’t get posted... so please, with adoptions down & costs up, we are struggling...

Charley & I headed to the vet. I had a feeling he just didn't feel well. Nobody is that chill. What I expected, was confirmed. Both tick diseases, Lyme & erhlicia. We are treating them with doxycycline. And a pain med as during his exam his joints were obviously sore. I'm hoping he hasn't had this for years.. But, we'll treat it and expect him to feel better soon. He is so well behaved! Loves to ride in the car. Jumps right in! We have also put him at 7 yrs old and he was 41 lbs. Read his other post if interested in fostering or Fostering-To-Adopt! He needs soft beds and love...❤️🐕❤️

Meet Charley, he needs a foster or FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME! Amelia shelter took in 3 emaciated dogs yesterday that were up near us. In order to help them take those dogs, we have a friend fostering 2 for the shelter and we took Charley. He does not belong here or in the shelter. He has the scars of a tough life but he is the friendliest, sweetest, quietest, laid back boy, I have met. He is fine with other laid back dogs. He isn't into crazy playful dogs. He wants a couch to snuggle with his people. He wants a nice walk or a car ride. He'll go wherever you want. We think he's at least 5 or 6. About 40 lbs. Crate trained, housebroken and so kind! He whines because he's lonely. He is already neutered and we're going to get his vaccines and heartworm test done ASAP. We'll also microchip. He needs his home. 👏 Foster Found! Thank You!👏

Honeybee needs temp foster until the 11th! We will have her surgery when her foster mom gets back. She is doing well and so as not to scare anyone off with surgery & recovery, we're just asking to foster. She is silly, playful & friendly! Adult only or teen kids ok. She is crate trained! Just on pain meds once or twice a day as needed. Does well on leash! Foster mom leaves tomorrow! She is coming here to the rescue because we don't have a temp foster and luckily, Nubbs is still doing well in his Foster-To-Adopt home, so we have a space! But I really don't want her to stay here without 24 hour attention. If I could bring her in my home, I would. But Andy is here and he does not welcome new dogs! So please, for a little over a week, can someone foster her?

Celeste needs her family! Foster mom is going on vacation and she still hasn't been adopted! I have no idea why... she is cuddly sweet, a bit shy at first. No kids under 10 as I think younger children would be too much for her. 14 weeks. Hound mix. She wants to play & cuddle with another dog. Celeste needs her family or a Foster home by 8/1! Her current foster mom has a planned trip for 2 weeks. She is very sweet & cuddly but is also a puppy, with puppy energy. So Honeybee will be having surgery soon to remove that back leg. Unfortunately her foster family has a planned trip and cannot keep her during that time. Starts 7/31/24.
