So little Jimmy came to us exactly a week ago. I knew something wasn't quite right with him as he paced in circles, figure 8's, and was off balance. His left eye is not quite right looking as well. I knew there was something neurological going on, but wanted to be sure it wasn't a viral infection like Distemper or something else contagious. My fear was we'd have to put him down because treatment is horrible, Costly, and good chance he wouldn't make it... So we waited for test results.... negative! He will live a long healthy life, but is a bit odd. He does have a neurological condition and without extremely expensive testing, we dont know what that is or how he came to have it. He Spins in circles, rubs against your legs, falls over sometimes when he jumps up on your leg to say hello. But he is absolutely the sweetest, happiest boy! He loves to be with you and definitely enjoys other dogs. He is kind and loving. Once his excitement of seeing you wears off, he loves to snuggle! He is just 6 weeks old and is headed to his Foster home tomorrow. We are noticing his skin is red in spots, so we are putting him on a salmon & sweet potato puppy food. Our guess is a food allergy. He is tiny. Unable to get an accurate weight, but about 4-5 lbs. We'll update him in a few days, once settled into his foster home! He is absolutely adorable! π₯°ππβ€οΈ
