Omg! Relax everyone! I'm not changing his name! It was just a thought! But it has become endearing.... And remember, we get lots if abandoned dogs that we give new names to and they adjust just fine! It's just a name! Relax everyone! Geez!! 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ And he's adjusting great in his foster home! Thanks Johna!!❤️

New older gentleman just in! This sweet boy lived in a car with his owner who tragically had a massive heart attack and passed away... His name is Monkey. (I think we'll change it.) But for now, it's Monkey. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️😂 He is about 7 years old. 11 lbs. Good with other dogs. Cats unknown. Shy with people at first, but warms quickly! Confident otherwise.. he was a good boy at the vet despite all the poking, proding & vaccines! He has never been to the vet before, so he did really well! More pics & update soon! 🥰🐕❤️

New Kids! 7 of them! 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😂 They are so friendly and very sweet! 8-9ish weeks old. We are getting them settled into their foster homes. Thank you Bonnie, Courtney & Emily!❤️ We are searching for a theme for names. We've had so many! We try not to repeat. Any suggestions is appreciated! Yay Piper Laurie!! This sweet girl has been with her foster family since we got her & her sister. Her sister went home, but Piper was shy of new people. Very sweet & friendly once you held her, but shy. Well it became pretty apparent at our last adoption event that this little girl had become very bonded with mom Bonnie. So, we made it official yesterday! Courtney & her mom Bonnie have become very attached and she fits right in with the gang! Thank you guys! Happy Tails Piper, now Maggie Mae!! 👏🥳🥰🐕❤️🎊

❤️ 2 FOSTER HOMES NEEDED! 2 PUPS EACH! ❤️

These babies are at one of our county animal shelters and we need to get them out! Approx. 7 weeks old. Just 2 fosters, 2 pups. We set you up with everything you need! It's usually for 2-4 weeks.
Must live in Amelia, Powhatan, Chesterfield or Midlothian areas for vet appts!

These sweet pups did not find their families yesterday. But we know they are out there! All these pups are sweet cuddlebugs! Serious cuddlebugs!

Dukey- 1.5 yrs old. This boy loves laying in the sun and sniffing his surroundings. He is a Beagle after all! But he also loves his warm comfy beds inside! His best scenario would be a lg fenced yard and another doggy playmate! He also does best with someone who works from home or is retired. He does not like spending long hours in his crate. He is good with other dogs and may do best with female dogs only, but he has been fine with male dogs too. A meet & greet is best! He is available to Foster-To-Adopt, to see if he's a good fit for your family!

Jessi- 14 weeks old. She came to us skin & bones.. and so scared, but oh so sweet. This girl is a lap lover! She will crawl into any welcoming lap and cuddle with you for hours! She is good with other non rambunctious dogs, cats, & kids! She is crate trained and doing great with housebreaking! An absolute love bug!

Dusty Bottoms- 4.5 mos old. This sweet boy is also another snugglebug! But he also loves playing with other dogs! He is great with cats & kids to! Crate trained and housebroken with doggy door.

Sally Ann- 5-6 mos old. This girl is the best. She came to us covered in mange with inflamed skin & significant hair loss. She is healing great and hair is growing back. Despite everything, her tail never stopped wagging! She is great with other dogs, cats & kids! She loves to be petted & loved on. She too is a total lap cuddlebug! She is available to Foster-To-Adopt while she completes her medical treatment.

Huge shout out & thank you to Dressler's Farm Car Show for inviting us back this year! ❤️ To our wonderful volunteers and Foster Families, you are the heart & backbone of this rescue and I could not do it without you! 🥰👣🐾❤️ To today's helpers, you were rock stars! Ryan, Frank, Stacey, Dana, Jill, Brittany, Tim, Pam, Nicole, Carl & son Dylan! Dylan is a dedicated promoter and dog lover and was awesome today! 👏👍 Thanks to today's adopters! 👏❤️ And, To everyone who stopped by and got puppy hugs & kisses or bought stuff, Thank You! We had 3 pups go home and 3 pups still waiting for their families.. that's my next post! 😁 The pups all got lots of lovins and cuddles and were exhausted by the end of the day! First to go home today, to a Foster-To-Adopt home, was Minnie Pearl! This sweet girl is going home with a doggy sister, Bibi! Formally Beatrice from our "B" pups, from like 7 years ago!
