Had a great weekend in Maquoketa with my boy. He got BOS in open with his Holland Dirty Boy, although I think he was happier to get the red ribbon for second place in show 2(nothing like a ribbon in your favorite color). My junior Blue Holicers got raving reviews KK's Zenyatta even got BOS in show one, don't mind her horrible pose she was a little overwhelmed. In the specialty shows KK's Okie from Muskogee got BOB both shows. Proud of our specially club Mini Lop Club of the Northern Great Plains 😊.

Had a great weekend at ISRBA convention 😊 Hayden got his first ribbon ever ❤️ his bunny got second place both shows on Sunday. WK's Winx got BOB Blue Holicer the first show, WK's Slew O' Gold got BOS show B. KK's Okie from Muskogee got BOS Mini lop both shows on Sunday.

I just want to thank everyone that had sweet memories and comments about my mom to share with me this weekend. It's hard doing this without her but it helps that so many people still keep her memory alive. Never be afraid to remind me of my mom, I might cry but I appreciate how loved she was and still is. I love that I'm getting to raise my son in this wonderful hobby that I got to grow up in. Rabbit people are not just friends they are family.

Posing practice with the Blues is going very well, most of them are holding it for a long time. Still need to work on proper poses but we are on the right track. Super happy with how my first litter is coming along.

Now that I'm home and the bunnies are all taken care of, I can post my wins for the weekend. Four shows over the weekend at Hutchinson Minnesota. I held my own for the first two, WK's Slew O' Gold got first show one and KK's Mama Tried got first show 2.
Show 3 I got my first Blue Holicer BOB ever with WK's Winx and show 3 I got my second blue BOB with WK's Eclipse as well as BOB mini lop with KK's Mama Tried. I feel like I'm finally starting to get back into the swing of things now to get my Holland herd back up to par.

Just wanted to introduce my herd of Blue Holicer's. Right now I am building up the herd so I don't have any available but I'm hoping to have something available by the end of the year. I won't be showing any at Amana this weekend but if you are interested in the breed feel free to come talk to me 😊. I know there will be at least two other blue breeders at the show this saturday.

It was a good day at Austin, Mn with Sophia Kruse and Michaela Renae...

Got a couple top 5 placings with the mini lops, but my highlight was getting BOS with my Blue Holicer jr doe! Meara Collins did an amazing job working to learn this new breed and I am very grateful for her taking her time to pose them properly and ask questions. I honestly learned more about the breed with all of the breeders and her commentary. I'm so happy to be working with this wonderful breed with Michaela!

Had a great weekend at Peoria with Michaela Rowell, the baby blues had a great first outing. Hollands did great; KK's Navajo got BOB show A and C, Y-nots JLO got BOS show A and BOB show B, KK's Charizard got BOS show B. The mini lops didn't stand a chance against Michaela's minis this time 😂.

Rabbit people, if you are going to Colfax remember to wear purple in Honor of Kandy Reif.
Shows won't be the same without her, she was the person I sat and talked with the most since mom passed.

We are having a blast in Kentucky! Fun fact... Out of the gate in 2008 was my very first convention in this very convention center and now win by a hare 2021 is Hayden's first convention.

BOB Holland with KK'S Dollar and BOS Holland with KK'S Amigo
Show two we won some varieties and opposite of varieties with both breeds.

Words can't even begin to describe the heartbreak when I found her dead last night. My sweet June Carter Cash, she was mom's favorite bunny and I almost lost her when Mom died. I could have posted all the best in shows that she won but she was so much more than that. June Carter Cash was the queen of the the barn at almost 9 years old, she will be greatly missed.
