I know it's been what seems like forever and a day since I have posted to my page. Life has been busy and with no litters during late fall into early winter there wasn't much to post. I also took a part time job outside the house working at a local cat shelter as an animal caretaker which I love being able to learn about cats and their behaviors but I still love my dogs and puppies.

Now for the awesome part of this post, we finally have some babies over here and I will be posting soon. Daisy has welcomed some babies on 1/22/25 as well as Baylee welcomed babies into this world on 1/30/25. They will be posted to the website soon.

Well posts are being deleted by FB on multiple breeder business pages. Even when you follow their rules and post info to direct them to your website they still decide at random times to remove posts. Seems very shortly I will only be posting to instagram so please follow me there if you enjoy my content and videos will be posted to YouTube (same channel name as here).

Seems the rules don’t apply to scammer pages though and you report them as scam/spam and they get to stay on FB 😠

For those that are new to following me, here is why I love Shih Tzus! This is our Zoe who was our first Tzu. She is celebrating her 12th birthday 🥳 today!! If it wasn’t for Zoe I probably wouldn’t have taken the path of becoming a breeder! In 8 years of breeding now I have come a long way and learned so much!

Sharing this by another breeder

So a JFYI here is a little education on the difference in a breeder placement and a rescue rehome.

The breeder's dog:
AKC reg (top of the line registry in the US and accepted world wide by FCI and foreign registries) and holds the breed standard) 35.00
AKC registration can compete anywhere in the world at top competitions
History that can be traced
5 generation pedigree
Fully vaccinated 200.00
DNA testing 139.00
blood panels 355.00 each
spay prior to placing 350.00 minimum
proper training and potty training included in the original price
Crate training included in the original price
stable temperament
A dog that has a stable temperament Included in the price
lifetime breeder support included in the price
Knowledge of the breeder included in the price
initial price of the dog being rehomed (average) $2,000

So approximately 3500.00 to 4,000 minimum invested in this dog all included in the rehome fee of Say $600.00
I did not include cost of food
I call that a bargain

A rescue dog
no registration
no known history pedigree or health
no DNA testing
no blood panels,
spay at a cheap spay/neuter program
unknown temperament issues
unknown possible future health issues
If anyone has anything to add to this list please feel free. This is just off the top of my head what I personally put into my breeding dogs.
