This weekend I was asked about puppy brokers. I was asked how they work and what they are.
Well, puppy brokers are companies that buy dogs from puppy mills and make them available to buyers using a really pretty website. They are in the business of buying cheap puppies and charging a lot for them. This is a business. The number one priority is how much money they can make.

Then I googled puppy brokers near me. 😳

Do your research people. If you find puppies:
🚩 - ‘ready to go’
🚩- there are no pictures shown when the puppy was very young with its mother and littermates.
🚩 - listed as ‘From reputable breeders’ but no names or contact information is clearly listed.
🚩 - you can get multiple breeds from one place.
🚩 - you are asked to send money upfront.

Please know: This post does not benefit me in any way. I am just so sick of seeing sick dogs and people blaming it on the breed. It’s not the breed’s fault that they are sick. These businesses will continue as long as they are being supported.
