Got to groom the lovely lioness Winnie Grace today! Happy to squeeze in a cut for this girl while we were briefly in town. We are so excited to have a discharge date for our son. We are hoping to get on a routine visit schedule. I would like to be able to offer some limited grooming appointments as we are in town visiting. As we roll into a new year, I want to thank you all for your continued support and give an update.

Matt and Ashleigh have been doing amazingly through the holidays. We are so happy they have stepped into our home and business while Dakota and I are away in Ohio. We are so happy to be able to continue caring for your pets while you’re away. Please enjoy some pics of our holiday boarders!

We will not be booking any boarding from December 3-13th. Since we are handing the day to day over to Matt and Ashleigh, we need to do some staff training on our systems and make sure the space is organized and functional for them. We want this to continue to be a success. Providing the best care for all the critters under our roof is always what we strive for. Stay tuned for more updates and the return of fun photos. 😊

Things will be settling into a new normal the last week of this month. We are happy to say that our friends Matt and Ashleigh are moving in to our house and will continue to care for boarders while we are relocated in Ohio. They are happy to schedule meet and greets if you’re interested in meeting them before boarding with them. They have been helping us since our son was born and have plenty of experience. Your pets will remain in good care. Dakota will continue to manage the scheduling, so point of contact will remain the same. We encourage everyone to download the Time To Pet app so we can send updates to you and make for easy scheduling and payments.

Thank you as always for your understanding and continued support as we navigate our son’s diagnosis.

We appreciate your patience as we have been navigating running the business remotely with a new baby. It’s been a bit difficult and our friends and family are doing the best they can to help out.

Here’s an update. At the end of November you’ll be seeing more consistent faces. We have close friends taking over the day to day operations. However, Dakota and I will remain the primary points of contact for scheduling. We also hope to use our app Time To Pet a lot more. Structure and consistency will be returning. We will send out another update once we have hammered out all the little details.

We are excited to be able to continue business from afar. Thank you so much for all the support over the years. Many more to come and Dakota and I will be local again before we know it.

We have been a little quiet. Here’s why.

Little Liam made his way into our lives. Dakota and I are running things remotely. For the next 2 weeks. We are completely booked up from Oct 5-12. Dakota will be home to take care of that week. Otherwise, you’ll be seeing our friends and family taking care of our boarders. Thanks for your patience and understanding as always. More updates to come.

We are so thankful Khorina has been able to help accommodate some grooming for us the last few weeks. Unfortunately for us she’s moving on to her new job. As we are less than a month away from our babies’ birth, Dakota will not be able to provide any small services either. In short, here is the updated plan and availability.

We plan to have enough coverage from friends and family to cover the care of our boarders. We will make another announcement if that changes. We will no longer be able to offer full grooming and smaller grooming services or drop by visits.

As always thank you for understanding. We are in a bit of a tight spot welcoming a NICU baby in a different state. We absolutely love our clients and want to try to continue the services that we can get coverage for. We couldn’t do it without you guys.

We have made some updates to the website. This includes some price and policy changes as well as updated downloadable documents and announcements. If your dog enters our location for care, we will need boarding and/or grooming agreements. You can fill these out ahead of time by downloading the forms from our website. You can send forms to us via email or you can upload them to the Time To Pet app. These forms can also be provided at the time of drop off.

As promised, I am here to let you guys know that Khorina is back to help us with our grooming! She will be in charge of her own schedule. In order for us all to function most efficiently while I'm still in Cincinnati, we will not be offering mobile grooming. All styled cuts will be scheduled at our location.

Hey guys. I just wanted to share a fundraiser I have started for my best friend and coworker in veterinary medicine. She’s a fellow animal lover and may have even cared for your pets during their stay with Styled For Pets. She has had to take leave from working in order to care for her son in the NICU. He has spent the first 3 months of his life fighting in NICU. I want to help cover some of the medical bills and day to day costs for her. Please help me share this fundraiser.

Dakota will be going back to work Monday. We will of course have friends and family covering the morning shift while he is at work. Again we ask for your patience when it comes to drop off and pick up schedules for boarding. Please be respectful of scheduled times. If you need to reschedule or think you will be late, we ask for ample notice. We are enforcing a 10$ late fee. This policy is posted on our website.

Additionally, we will be limiting our schedule from September 16-30th as we will be welcoming our baby in Cincinnati. We will not have the staff for drop by visits during this time. We recommend you book boarding in advance during this time to make sure you get a reservation.

We absolutely love our clients and cannot even begin to thank you all enough for your support and understanding given our life circumstances.

Update: We currently do not have a groomer for hair cutting at this time. We can continue to schedule baths. Ear cleanings and nail trims can still be completed but are subject to the behavior of the pet. If they are too difficult for one person to do by themselves we will have to advise they be seen elsewhere for those services in order to limit the stress on your pet and ensure the safety of both your pet and our staff. I will post another update here as well as update our website when we are able to offer full grooming services again.

I apologize for the inconvenience and hope that we can provide full grooming services in the future. As always we appreciate your continued support.

I wanted to highlight some of our policies posted on our website here. We are continuing to have issues with clients showing up significantly late for their scheduled drop off and pick up times with little to no notice. Notifying us that you will be late at or after your scheduled time will result in a late fee being applied to your balance. We understand that things come up and are more than happy to try and work with you on rescheduling your drop offs/pick ups. However, we also have appointments off site that rely on our punctuality as well. We ask that you be respectful of scheduled appointment times and that you will understand the need for us to implement late fees.

Announcement:
As some of you already know, Dakota and I have a baby on the way with needs for lots of medical intervention. The time has come for me to relocate to Cincinnati to provide treatment for the remainder of my pregnancy and the foreseeable future while baby is hospitalized.

This means our day to day operations will be changing. We ask for patience as we navigate the new scheduling. The plan is as follows:

BOARDING: continues as is. Someone (Dakota or family and friends) will be here to care for all of our boarders. Please be respectful of scheduled drop off and pick up times. Our day to day operations revolve around them. There will be a late fee policy enforced and posted on our website.
GROOMING: styled cuts will be accommodated at the availability of our lovely Khorina who is kind enough to help in her spare time.
MOBILE SERVICES: still up in the air depending on availability and skill of who is available to help provide these.
DROP BY VISITS: continue normally with the exception of Dakota traveling to visit me on occasion.
BASIC SERVICES: Dakota is more than capable of providing baths, however, smaller services like nail trims and gland expression would be dependent upon having an extra set of hands and may be limited in availability.
OVER NIGHT STAYS: we stopped taking new clients for this service a while back and continued some jobs here and there. We will no longer be able to do any over night stays. We can break them up into drop by visits throughout the day or board pets with us in our facility. For those pets that just do better at home we recommend reaching out to The Prefurred Pack.

SCHEDULING will be done through Dakota and myself. I will be the primary contact as I will be managing the schedule remotely.
