Day 20 of maternal incubation! Our female Blood Python remains tightly coiled around her clutch, diligently protecting her eggs on exhibit. Each day, we lightly mist her enclosure to keep humidity levels just right. Watch closely — you might catch her sipping water right off her own body. She won’t leave her eggs until they hatch, so be sure to stop by and witness this incredible natural behavior in person!

The Great Eared Nightjar is pretty much a dragon bird due to its unique and striking appearance. Its large eyes, long, pointed wings, and distinctive ear tufts contribute to a mythical, dragon-like look. It's a fascinating bird with a surreal appearance, resembling a creature from a fantasy novel.
