🩷Hey just a friendly reminder HOUSE CALL means you call me to come into your house. IN HOME means I groom in my home. MOBILE GROOMING means I have a van to groom out of anywhere (apartments, houses, businesses or animal shelter parking lots, can be done literally anywhere even campgrounds). 🩷

I am and still remain a house call service. I do not offer grooming from my home as my dogs do not like random dogs coming here. Plus my driveway would cause yall to p**p your pants coming up it. 😂 I am not looking to expand into a shop or a van in the future as dog training is my primary focus these days. I still offer dog walking, pet sitting and grooming services.

It’s posts like these I hate to make. This month we have lost both Rambo M and Schuyler I. Just a little over a week in between two of my favorite dogs between passings. I lost a fair amount of dog friends during the hurricane, it makes it even harder to lose my dog friends after the fact.

One thing I feel a lot of people misunderstand about me and how I do my business is my heart. I feel that a lot of people don’t quite understand how much of my heart I give to what I do. My entire life is centered around dogs and researching about them so I can better communicate with them. I am yet to stop my dedication to understanding them, working with them and providing them the ultimate care. I love every single dog I meet. I become friends with dogs I see on the regular. I get to know their little personalities, their liked, their dislikes, what they tolerate and what they don’t. I think of them like I do my friends. I prioritize them and make sure they receive the most love and respect possible.

I tried so hard to display this when I had my salon in Unicoi. It was always my dream to be there and focus on the dogs. I just don’t think the majority of people was able to see how much I loved the dogs and what I do. It was getting to a point where it was burning me out and wearing me down. People assumed I was just there to make money and not care for their pets. It always hurt my heart and my soul whenever people would constantly talk to me like I was there to hurt their pets or drug them or mishandle them. The constant assumption that talking to me like a recording on the phone line wouldn’t get to me ate at me.

I stepped away from many reasons and the biggest one was to protect my heart and what I love doing. I love working with my dogs in their homes because the people that allow me there know I love their dogs like they are my own. They know I cry with them when their dogs pass. They know when I’m there grooming, training or pet sitting that I am advocating for their needs around the block.

These are two guys I see on the regular and knowing I won’t ever get to see them again makes my heart hurt. I knew the last time I seen Rambo it was the last, he told me. I wasn’t prepared to say by to Schuyler as he was running around and doing just fine when I seen him a couple days before Christmas.

Rest in peace little pieces of my heart, Rambo & Schuyler. I will forever miss your sweet faces and love.

Hey y’all I have some spots let for Kingsport and near by areas this week. If you are wanting your dogs to look good for Christmas I recommend reaching out soon to make sure I have time before the holiday. I am mostly full for then but have some spots left. Also if you do not get a response from me keep trying, I am not offended I am often out on my route and mean to return texts and calls but forget that I opened them at a clients home. Please keep trying till you get me. I’m not blowing you off. Calls are typically better so I can help immediately.

I forgot to share my little Ollie!! I went and seen him before the holiday. He’s such a sweet little guy. Him and I have been friends for a couple of years now. He’s a little blind nowadays but he is still as sweet and handsome as ever. I truly enjoy all dogs. The ones with disabilities will always hold a special place in my hearts.

Miss Oakley! She doesn’t like having her face dried. However the Norwick towel for dogs did a great job at getting them after the photos. She’s so sweet! Her and her mom are so precious.

Studies have been done to show that kids 3-4 years old, when they see photographs of growling dogs, they say the dog is smiling because the dog's showing his teeth.
Don't leave children alone with dogs.

We have unfortunately lost some of our amazing friends and their doggies during this depressing time. Y’all are not just grooming clients to me, you are family and my heart misses you all. I don’t only love your dogs, I also love you. It’s been such a pleasure getting to know everyone and their pets. May all of you rest in peace. Tonight please say a prayer for those who are no longer here with us.

I remember the very first client of mine that passed away- his wife brought in their dog the next time and I had never met her before. It was so lovely getting to finally meet her, I still think of him every so often. Every single one of you have impacted my life for the better. I’ll miss getting veggies from the gardens, those little candies they gave me around Christmas, but most importantly the little bits from their life stories. I will carry your story and your memories with me forever.

Thank you all for coming in to my life. Rest in peace to my dear clients and their doggies and everyone else who we unfortunately had to say goodbye to.

I was supposed to work in Burnsville this week grooming and next. There’s still some of my dear friends and their doggies I haven’t heard from that was on schedule. I will be working that way trying to locate everyone. Every single one of you matter to me and I would extend the same level love to all of you. You all have a friend and family in me. Please if you know anyone needing pet supplies and survival supplies dropped to them during this time let me know. My rav4 is beyond capable of getting places. We are eager to pull our weight during all of this.

For monetary donations please skip Red Cross and fema. Cajun Navy is giving that money directly to the people and not laundering it.

You can also donate these items to the Cajun Navy who is working with search and rescue and with passing these supplies out to the rural country areas. Lindsey and I are still going out door to door passing out supplies to those who are trapped. If you are an avid hiker we encourage you to embark this journey with us as a lot of places are no longer accessible.

I’ve been a little busy and preoccupied with traveling to areas that are not accessible to help those in need. So many people do not realize they aren’t alone and that there is help available to them. This being said I am prioritizing taking care of our neighbors in Burnsville area specifically Pensacola. There’s more of a need right now for following a calling from God than there is pet grooming. I will return soon once I am confident that people aren’t suffering or stranded somewhere scared.
If you need pet sitting/help with pet care during this time I am offering those services free of charge as I do understand we are struggling and work is up in the air for most. I will happily deliver free pet food and kitty litter to anyone in need. Please reach out to me and I will be more than happy to assist you or your loved ones.
