We are looking for someone to take care of our horses two to three days per week; living close to the farm at 146 Grandview Road in Johnson City is desired, in case of an emergency. Must have experience with horses and be comfortable handling with turn out; feeding; and cleaning the barn. We have pasture and full board horses. Our farm has a maximum capacity of 10 horses. Grandview Farm now offering Training Board with Sarah McClain; inquire for rates and additional information

From Showmanship To Horsemanship: Sarah McClain started her passion at an early age, and to this day she can not get enough. She took the traditional path most young girls follow and has spent many years competing in hunters, eventing, and show jumping. However, she always felt that something was missing and that missing link was a deeper connection between horse and rider. She has since found her real passion in horsemanship and spends her time trying to better her connection with every horse that comes into her life. She spends much of her free time working with troubled, young, or horses that are on their last chance. Sarah continues to learn from as many clinicians, trainers, and of course every horse that she works with. She has worked with thoroughbred jumpers to draft horses that need to learn how to be a good citizen while out on the trail. Her most recent interest has been with the American Mustang. She adopted her first untouched mustang from the BLM back in 2018, and continues to learn from the once wild horse daily. She strives to help others find a path to more trust, love, and respect.
