All of our ball python snakes have been given pasta names for presentations! Meet Al Dente (the normal black/brown snake) and Penne (the yellow/ white snake).
These two snakes are the same species but the color differences come from genetic mutations! They are one of the most common snakes to be bred for color variations. Ball Pythons, in the wild, are found in West and Central Africa and would most likely see a snake colored how Al Dente is.

Meet our silly bird, Simon!
Simon is an umbrella cockatoo also known as a white cockatoo. Though at Genesis Animal Sanctuary he is known as a "shoe biter". Simon's favorite game is tag where Simon is always "it" and if he catches you he will put a hole in your shoe.
This bird does have his favorite people and loves to dance and sing with those he loves. He will also say "Hey baby!" and "I love you, baby!".

This is Brutus our Catalina macaw. A Catalina is a hybrid of a Scarlet macaw and a Blue and Gold macaw.
Brutus has the largest known vocabulary of any of our parrots in the sanctuary! Fun fact: Brutus speaks most of his words while going for drives in the car.
