Unfortunately the day that I have dreaded for 14 years has arrived. My heart and soul is busted. There are no words to explain the pain that I am feeling. My best friend, my soulmate and the love of my life has to leave me today. Her heart and mind want to stay, but her body just refuses. I know one day we will meet again. It’s official we have moved to our new building at 2313 Browns Mill Rd. We are just a couple minutes from our old shop. We will also have a retail store and a boarding and daycare facilities for small dogs and medium dogs. Come check us out 😊

🚨 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: 🚨 In response to the concerning surge in cases of a new and mysterious dog virus, we're taking additional steps at Grooming Tails to ensure the health and safety of your cherished pets.

🏡 Curbside Pick-ups: To minimize any potential threat, we're temporarily shifting back to curbside pick-ups. We kindly request that multiple dogs not be brought into our lobby during this time.

⏰ Timing Matters: Early drop-offs and late pick-ups, unfortunately, cannot be accommodated presently. Your prompt retrieval upon notification is deeply appreciated.

🧼 Enhanced Cleaning Protocols: We're ramping up our cleaning and disinfecting procedures to provide an extra layer of protection for our furry clients.

💉 Vaccination Proof: Please ensure your pets are up-to-date on all vaccinations, including rabies. Proof of vaccinations must be presented upon arrival, and we sincerely appreciate your cooperation.

📆 Appointment Inquiries: When scheduling appointments, we'll ask about your dog's recent visits to a Vet, Kennel, Dog Park, or Doggie Daycare within the last two weeks. Additionally, we'll inquire if your furry friend has shown any signs of illness.

🚨 Watch for Symptoms: If your dog displays symptoms such as persistent coughing, sneezing, nasal or eye discharge, lethargy, difficulty breathing, or bluish/purple gums, please be aware they will be placed in quarantine immediately. You'll be contacted to arrange prompt veterinary care.

Our Story

My name is Beth Trent and this is my poodle, Lexi. I opened up Grooming Tails Pet Spa. Just like a lot of you, I wanted a clean, safe, and caring place to take my dog when she needed to be groomed. To me, she is not just a dog -- she is my best friend. My groomer cousin, Neesha Wagner, moved away and I had a hard time trying to find a place that I trusted to groom her. The place I took her to did a good job but she was the first one there at 7:30 am and would always be the last one ready at the end of the day at 6 pm. To me, that was not acceptable because it made her very nervous. When my cousin moved back, I gave up my job and we opened up Grooming Tails Pet Spa. I am here every day with Lexi and she loves coming to work. I am also here to watch over your fur babies as if they were my own. Every one of our groomers and bathers have fur babies of their own and want nothing more than to provide your dog with the best care and make sure that their time spent being groomed is not a stressful experience. Are we perfect? No, we are not. We have had a few nips here and there because we are only human, but as any groom shop can tell you, sometimes it's difficult to groom a moving object. Any time of the day, you are more than welcome to come in and check us out. I highly recommend checking out all grooming facilities before you choose one.
