Chance will be 👀 for his furrever family soon! Private chat only. House trained, crate trained, not reactive to small dogs here anyway, I always feed in crates alone but I have not seen any resource guarding when I have put food in or removed bowls. He is slow to warm up but once he trusts you are he is your best friend. He is a special boy!!

Experiencing the pure joy of life with this precious boy! He's the best! I cherish our moments together, like our time in the run this morning where he gazed into my eyes, tucked his head under my chin, and held me tight with those big paws. His acceptance and display of love brought tears of happiness to my eyes. No jumping policy? Forget that, this was a moment of connection and adoration.

It's a breeder's worst nightmare when an animal shelter calls with one of my babies. I've been fortunate until now only 3 and today makes 4 in 16 years. Get those microchips registered folks. Thank God I have finao and I stay on permanently and can't be removed! Because of a chip I have a young male with me tonight! We will be evaluating and getting him over this! They found him tied to a pole at the entrance to the shelter this morning. I won't share more details at this point it's irrelevant! We are moving forward with this beautiful guy! We are calling him Chance as he deserves a second chance and so much more. I was waiting at the shelter when they brought him back from the vet after being checked out. I had the car waiting and when they opened the back of the van and crate he came immediately to me with tail wagging! He remembers me! I haven't seen him since he was 8 weeks old. The shelter worker was astounded because he had not shown anything but fear, depression and his tail tucked since they found him. He smelled me and knew his mom was there!! He walked to my SUV and started climbing in! I was bawling by this point! My adoption process just got harder!!! I will be very picky with who gets Chance. He deserves the best. Private message me for details and application! BTW if anyone wants to show appreciation to these dear people I'm going to get some things together and deliver it to the shelter. They are quite a ways from me but it doesn't matter, they had 160 animals there and setup for 80. They were and are Rock stars! Meet Buckingham Bloodhounds Second Chance!!!💕💕💕💕

This weather and heat has all the girls off schedule. Spring was nothing but rain for days and now summer is heat in the mid nineties with heat index over 100. All these things factor into female reproductive cycles. Of course as hot as it is it would be horrible on new puppies. Our Dogs only get brief periods of time outside in the early morning and late afternoon otherwise in air-conditioned kennels or piled up in the house with kids. If you are on my waiting list I promise the wait will be worth it. Mother Nature knows best in these instances! I'll keep you updated!!

We have a new addition to the Buckingham Bloodhounds gang! Meet KRC Lady Daphne of Buckingham. This beautiful girl is a sister to Sir Walter! We have been looking for a female to compliment Lord John. He is a big boy and my other females are on the smaller side of AKC standards. She is a big female without being overly done. She will be bred at her next heat due in September to Lord John. She is 2 yrs old has completed her DNA health testing all clear and is being scheduled for OFA Hips and elbows as soon as possible. I posted also pictures of our first sire Zeppelin. Zeppelin was first generation in our program he was Willie Wonka his son. Most breeders will recognize that name. We were fortunate to have him. We loved our boy furiously but he met an untimely death at only 7. These are lines our foundation was built on and to have this female from Willie Wonka lines makes me happy. You can tell even many generations down she has the look!! Stay tuned for lots of pictures of this girl
Now on a side note. I have Honey and Minnie patiently waiting on their heat cycles. I will not breed both since we have Daphne in the mix now. Minnie should come in heat anytime and she will breed with Boss Hawg who is from my program and foundation lines.

Last night's storm was no match for Wally's hugging skills! Chicken coop crushed, paws caked with mud, and power outage? No problem! Minnie knew her turn was coming, and I didn't care about my hair looking like a bird's nest. Who needs a spotless house when you have two goofy bloodhounds bringing laughter and joy?

Spring is here! Come on girls!!! It's time to plan those breedings!! I had originally planned on using Lord John but I have decided on adding just the perfect girl for him. This will to allow him time to mature. So.... I'm looking at Minnie and Boss Hawg and a repeat of Wally and Honey for this year! I have several on the advance waiting lists but have room for more! PM me if interested!! Excellent tracking lines. Boss is a local K9 search and rescue male we donated to the sheriff's office in Scott County VA. It will be hard to pass up these babies!!

Boss is from my original lines and has outstanding tracking in his pedigree. Boss is a K9 officer we donated to the Scott County VA Sheriff's department. He is train in Search and Rescue. ゚viralシ

Chance wants to be with you constantly! He is a Velcro Bloodhound. I put him in the crate while I worked outside so he could see me and not have chickens for a snack. I haven't seen that behavior just being safe to protect my birds and geese. Look at the head on this boy and only 11 months. He still a baby!!

Work with your puppies they are so smart and it's never too early to start. Willow is from our last litter and almost 3 months. These dogs are capable of much if you give them the time.
