ITS THE TIME OF YEAR AGAIN!

Tentative plans for our upcoming 4H year starting September 1. Come join us. If you are already part of a school 4H most our meetings are open so come learn with us P*e Dee Farm Hands 4-H Club.

Plans for this upcoming 4H year:
1. Bees Seminar
2. Locker plant tour(?)
3. Fairs
4. Beef cattle and dairy cattle (cattle sale)
5. Canning and preserving food
6. Open pollinators and hybrid plants along with seed collection (garden project) growing our own seedling together
7. Agriforestry
8. Rabbit clinic
9. Poultry clinic (may hatch some chicks)
10. Goat clinic
11. Horse/farrier demo
12. Etc. suggestions?

We have our famous lettuce today. Salad mix(tricolor romaine, Swiss chard, frisée, Cherokee red, salanova red, and watercress) $3 a gallon bag and $3 for ek eggs. I see a chef salad with homemade ranch dressing in y’all’s future.

TEENAGERS! PARENTS OF TEENAGERS! 4H is coming to our area. If you or your kids are part of FFA at school then 4H is something that could benefit them in so many ways. If they are not in FFA, it can still benefit them. SCHOLARSHIP! EXPERIENCE! Shoulder rubbing with ppl in the ag industry that could one day benefit them. The oldest person so far to register is 13 for our local 4H. Please yall let encourage these teenagers to join! It could change their life!
