This particular room comes equipped with a television. We have a beauty shop! A hair dresser that comes in once a week for shampoos, styles, cuts, color or perms at a reasonable price.
Day visits are free of charge so your family member may come and see who we are and ask our residents questions. Today a little lady who did live here for awhile, Ms Nettie, passed away very early this morning. IF you knew her you knew she was a wonderful christian lady. She was also a lady who LOVED her telephone 📞!! I don’t think I have ever seen anyone her age on the phone as much as her . . . but it was totally to make sure she made sure everyone knew who to pray for, what to pray for and why to pray for them! Ms Nettie LOVED our oldest grandson, Tristan, and he loved her! He loves reptiles and she would sit on the back porch and listen to him teach her about them as he showed her them. She loved that! She LOVED to laugh!!! And when she moved here she became good friends with Ms Velma. Those two were a hoot together!!! Ms Velma went to Heaven January 22nd of this year! I can just see those two seeing each other in Heaven! Giving each other hugs and then laughing about the time a lizard 🦎 was loose in Velma’s room and Nettie was trying to catch it . . . Velma standing in a chair and Nettie ending up in the floor laughing at Velma!!! Needless to say the lizard 🦎 was found BUT many laughs shared over it! I know Ms Velma has been missed and I know Miss Nettie will be missed! Please pray for her family during this time. Bobby and Jackie we love you both.
