Our Double Birthday Bash is on Sunday, June 30th from 1pm to 3:30pm at SOS retail located at 577 Kingstown Road in Wakefield, RI! SOSARL is turning 10! And SOS reTAIL is turning 5! We’re keeping a close eye on what Mother Nature has in store and have July 7th as our rain date!

Join us for doggie carnival games and costume contest, over $1000 worth of raffle prizes, a photo booth, adoptable dogs, free doggie ice cream, treats for humans, free samples and more! Plus a FUN ZONE for the pups including a splash pad, agility equipment, flirt poles, and water games. And a spot just for sniffing!

Happy Spay that Stray in May Eve! Just two more females to go!

Day 14: Paris
Who remembers this sweet girl? 😻 She's the mom we recently went out to help with her two kittens stuck under the porch. Doesn't look mean now, does she? Paris is such a sweet girl and is so thankful to be saved. We can just tell. Guess what her two children are named? That's right! London and Phoenix. 🤣 We couldn't help it. She was rescued on Hilton Ave. 🤷‍♀️ She is doing so well. Hopefully we can get her into a foster soon. We just had to include her in our Spay that Stray in May Fundraiser. Especially after the positive feedback from her rescue story! She is still about 8 weeks away from being ready to be spayed but it will be here before you know it. We would love to have her allset and ready to go by then. Please consider making a small donation so Paris can receive her spay package.

Spaying is EXTREMELY important to end the suffering of community cats. We hope you can help us spay a total of 15 females during our 15 days of Spay that Stray in May fundraiser.🤞

It costs us $150 to provide a female with her spay package. Which includes her exam, spay procedure, fluids, post op pain meds, vaccinations, flea prevention, and microchip.

Our goal today is to raise $150 to have Paris spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, and microchipped!

Along with signing up for early entry, you will also complete an application, which means you won’t need to fill one out on event day should you adopt! This helps save our rescues time and moves the adoption process along quickly! The rescues will handle all the screening at the event.

SUPER DOG ADOPTION DAY is on Saturday, June 15th from 12pm-4pm at WaterFire Arts Center in Providence, RI! Grabbing a Golden Ticket means meeting 300+ dogs and puppies 2 hours early!

Check out our website for ALL the information you will need to adopt a dog the day of the event. Please note, adoptions are not first come first served, rescues will screen each family to ensure they are a good fit for the dog and the dog a good fit for the family.

We are still in search of one last donor so we can start round 2 of Snip&Clip, Drop&Chop, Spay and Neuter it Helps A LOT low cost clinic! We have been fortunate to secure 3 funders, but we still need 1️⃣ more! We are looking for a business, organization, or an individual to commit to $2000 so we can spay/neuter 90-100 more cats during round 2, depending on male vs female ratio. 🌟We have both veterinarians willing to volunteer one day at the end of this month, so time is of the essence. 🤞
