I am reaching out to share an important update with you. I will be officially retiring on December 29, 2024. It has been a joy and a privilege to get to know you and to be entrusted with the care of your furry family members. I truly have been blessed to be involved with the care, for many families, of generations of pets.

As for Sullivan Family Pet Hospital, I am handing the Medical Director title to my very trusted colleague, Dr. Sarah Lagan. You will still see the same skilled and compassionate support team in the hospital when you walk in the door for your appointment. It has always been a requirement of mine that I work with a team who cares deeply for our patients and has a high standard of care, so I am confident that they will continue to provide the exceptional service you’ve come to expect from us.

In February, Sullivan Family Pet Hospital is excited to be welcoming Dr. Abbey Rupiper who is a 2019 graduate from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine. She has five years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine and exotic animal medicine.

I will truly miss seeing you all, but I leave knowing your pets will be in good hands.
