Frequently asked “How do you know which one will have the minimal shed Havanese Coat. I raised CavaPoos for several years, my son and DIL still do, so, this is the first week you can tell for sure. We only have 1 in this litter of 5. The other 4 will look more like a Cavalier coat.

Why a Cavanese? These puppies are sired by an AKC CKCS, with International Champion bloodlines. Their mom is 3/4 Cavalier and 1/4 Havanese. Havanese compliment Caviliers with their similar size and minimal shed. They also break up the genetic pool, decreasing the risk of congenital issues. So, you get a dog that looks like a Cavalier, with less long term health risks.
We also raise CavaPoos for the same reason, although not everyone loves poodles.. therefor the Cavanese❣️

Why a Cavanese, you might be thinking? Cavalier King Charles Spaniels have potential health issues. Yes, they are DNA, Cardiac, hip, patella screened, and only those who pass those tests are bred.
However, they were reintroduced after WW II, when there were only a limited number in Europe. None in the USA. Healthy gene pool selection leads to healthy dogs…by adding a little Havanese into the mix, you add a whole new genetic strain… health issues are greatly reduced.
Cavaliers are known for their loving devotion, and Cavanese maintain those base characteristics, with minimal shed! Playful, happy, healthy companions. Breeding planned in June 2022.
