Hello Hopeful Tails supporters,

It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you of the passing of these sweet babies, Tramp and Emperor.

We did everything in our power as a rescue to keep them alive and well, but unfortunately the tides turned against them and they were not able to push through their medical challenges. We are deeply saddened by their passings, as our mission is to keep dogs alive and give them the best lives possible.

We want to thank everyone who donated towards their medical procedures. We are so grateful for the support our community continues to provide in these trying times.

Please keep Hopeful Tails in your thoughts and hearts these next few days, as going through the loss of dogs is never easy ❤️. Medical treatments are very difficult to afford and endure emotionally, and we hope you understand our struggles at this time.

Look at this sweet angel we've got for our Hopeful Tails Dog of the Week 🥹. Meet Fat Boy! He's a two-year-old male puppy who's got a whole lot of love to give 🥰.

Fat Boy's name doesn't truly fit his size, as he only weighs about 19.2 pounds! He's soft and fluffy and and just a big ball of fun overall 🤩.

Fat Boy is partially blind, but that doesn't stop him from exploring the world! Despite his partial blindness, he's able to see things in his own, unique way, and that makes him extra special 😊. He's able to make out shadows, and this is enough for him to maintain a playful and goofy outlook that makes him the lovable bundle of joy he is!

As for more information on this baby, he's loyal, friendly, curious and super smart. He loves spending time with adults and children, and gets along swimmingly with dogs as well! Additionally, he's always interested in learning new tricks to get him some extra treats 😋.

His spirit is truly unmatched! While he's shy at first, once you get to know him, he'll open up to you with some warm cuddles and puppy sweetness ❤️.

BINGO IS BACK!! Join us on Friday, September 20 for a fun night of bingo at our rescue 🤩✅. We may have taken a break from bingo nights, but they're back and better than ever!

We've got the absolute BEST kids in the community! Lainey and Aggie held their own lemonade stand, and with the funds they raised, they purchased a bunch of wonderful supplies for our puppies 🥹.

Thank you SO much to these amazing girls, we are so grateful for their kind hearts and generosity ❤️. The future is bright for these kids!

Good evening Facebook family! We are unfortunately back with some medical updates for two of our special puppies 😢.

Our first puppy, Tramp, caught a bad infection and needed to stay overnight at the vet last week for a few nights for IV treatment. He's been having trouble keeping his food down, and if this continues, he'll have to go back to the vet for more IV treatments which is not fun for him nor us ☹️.

Then, this second puppy, Emperor, has a prolapse, meaning they have a part on their body that's not in the right place, which can lead to infections and much more. With that, he needs to undergo exploratory surgery.

We want to do everything in our power to make sure our fur babies can get the treatment they deserve so they can get adopted and live happy and healthy lives. Of course, medical expenses are not cheap, so we are asking our wonderful supporters to come together once again and help donate to these puppies' medical needs ❤️.

The combined cost for their medical procedures is $2,500, so we are hoping to raise enough money to pay for their treatments and let them live in peace. If you are able and willing to give any money to these sweet babies, we will be forever grateful, and we hope you know that you are saving lives by doing so!

Our behavior crew members are volunteers who aim to help our rescue dogs adjust to their surroundings and cope with the stresses of shelter life through confidence-boosting games, various types of enrichment and other fun activities that anybody can learn how to do 🐶.
