MONDAYS

As of August 12th, we will no longer be offering daycare on Monday. Instead, Monday will solely be for training, enrichment, reactive dog play and confidence building courses (parkour), leash walking and one on one customer consults.

I’m a Dog Behaviorist watching dogs and people fail for myriad reasons. Sometimes, maybe often, the issues are fixable with simple remedies. Often, these remedies can be quite slow and time-consuming and understandably, people don’t always have the time or skills. We will slot times between 1 and 8 hours based on need.

I am constantly saying No to working with troubled dogs and desperate owners due to time constraints. I fear that my saying No recently may have cost a dog his home. I’d also like to help people avoid paying thousands of dollars for “boot camps” by offering long term Board and Train.

Mondays will therefore be devoted to behavioral issues, training, socialization, desensitization, confidence building, counter-conditioning, rehab.

If your dog exhibits any of the below behaviors, call us for a Monday appointment. We will post a specific menu and rates by Monday. Please help spread the word to struggling dogs or families: Don’t give up. Don’t return your dog. Give us a call and set up a Monday Evaluation today.

Looking for updates? Our power was restored and the boarders have had a day of being spoiled!! We will be back to business as usual tomorrow. BUT!! Today’s weather proves why reservations are important- everyone who had a reservation received a text saying we were closed.
And those that had requests pending also received that we were closed. If you didn’t check Facebook and showed up without reserving, we are sorry but that’s why having a reservation is important! Taking care of is most important!! Stay safe- check gates and fences!!

🎇Check gates and doors during bbq’s and parties. 🎇Make sure your dog is wearing its collar with tags that have up to date information! 🎇The number one day dogs are lost is the Fourth - if your dog is scared of the noise consider closing all the windows and turn on some music. 🎇Bring your dog to daycare the week of! 🎉💥 With the 4th right around the corner you might want to start to desensitize your dog (especially puppies) to the noise.

You can YouTube fireworks displays and have the sound playing in the background. Make it a little louder and play it a little longer day by day.

Don't comfort the dog if it's fearful. Divert its attention and give treats for sitting, etc.
