Looking to keep warm this winter? Someone to snuggle up with by the fire or watch TV with? Someone to brighten up your gloomy winter days? Look no further...meet Lucy!

Lucy is a 2-3 year old spayed female domestic shorthair cat who has been with us for about a year now...crazy right? Do you know the best thing about adopting an adult cat? You know what you are getting! And Lucy has decided she is a certified lover-girl. She is up-to-date on all her vaccines and is litterbox trained. We are convinced Lucy does not have a mean bone in her body! She absolutely adores everyone and enjoys any quality time spent with her. Lucy LOVES belly rubs, head scratches...all of it! She has yet to use her nails or bite, but she will occasionally cling to you when you try to end your petting session...Who doesn't mind clingy when it's a cat?! Lucy occasionally gets a playful streak, catnip toys are a favorite of hers! There is not one bad trait we could say about her.

Lucy was a mom when she came to us and did a fabulous job with her kittens, but is now ready to have that same care taken of her. We are not sure HOW she is still here...she has the beauty AND the personality.

Lucy is a 1-2 year old, white and tabby, spayed female short hair cat. She is up-to-date on all her vaccines and is litterbox trained. We are convinced Lucy does not have a mean bone in her body! Meet Cody!

She is a gorgeous dilute tabby. Spayed female about 1-2 years old, fully vaccinated, litterbox trained. She did have kittens when she came in and was a fabulous mother, but now she is ready to retire to the spoiled life. Cody is kind, nurturing, and a tad playful! She is always ready to be pet and snuggled.

Meet Cassian and Gary!

Cassian is a black and white female and Gary is a gray male. They are 8 weeks old, started on vaccines, and litterbox trained. Both Gary and Cassian are very sweet and playful. They have even been socializing with the kittens from another litter!

Meet our cats currently up for adoption!

We have four adorable kittens ranging from 8 to 11 weeks old. They are started on their vaccines. Gary and Taffy are boys and Cassian and Tylor are girls! They all absolutely crave attention and are excited to see everyone each morning!

Then we have two sweet adult females, Lucy and Cody, who are fully vaccinated and spayed. These ladies are about 1-2 years old and are the most kind and gentle cats you will ever meet! Both were fabulous moms, but are now ready to live a spoiled life.

We will be closed Thursday July 4th in observance of Independence Day! We will resume normal business hours Friday July 5th. Have a safe and happy holiday from the staff at VCA.

Here are some good reminders and information to keep in mind:

🎆 There are emergency hospitals that will be open, it is always good to have a plan and knowledge of the closest open hospital.

🎆 Pet Poison Helpline: (855)764-7661 .... ASPCA Poison Control Line: (888)426-4435

🎆 Please remember that animal control does get an influx of lost/loose animals around this holiday. Try to keep a closer eye on your pets and keep them more secure. Note that if your pet has a microchip, that offers a way for someone to contact you if your pet is found. Do make sure that your microchip information is up-to-date and that your voicemail box is not full.

🎆 If you find a pet: you can check the pet for a tag with owner information. Animal control and some vet hospitals have microchip scanners to check for owner information. Contact the animal control of the county or township you live in to notify them of the lost pet.

Is your family looking for a sweet new addition? You're in luck! We have 5 ADORABLE bunnies look for great homes to rest their lucky little feet.

💮 3 look like the one in the photos and there are 2 that are all black. Believe us when we say, they are VELVET soft. We guarantee you have never felt anything softer...in fact, we bet you a bunny you have not!

💮 We estimate these bunnies may be around 8 weeks old, perhaps born around November 30th 2023. They are sweet as pie and ready for their homes.

While we would love these bunnies to get a home as soon as possible, PLEASE do your research before adopting any critter. They can be more work and require more care than some anticipate.
