That’s why Camp Grace is now offering Doggy Day Stays — a safe, fun option for pups who shouldn’t have to stay home alone while you’re at work or running holiday errands. Instead of being bored or lonely, your dog can spend the day enjoying socialization with friends 🐾, outdoor play, one-on-one loving attention, potty breaks, and the kind of gentle structure that helps them feel secure and happy.

We offer day stays for both small and large dogs, and you can also add enhanced playtime, enrichment sessions, or brain-play activities for pups who love a little extra engagement. Doggy Day Stays help reduce stress, build confidence, and keep your dog mentally and physically stimulated.

These “after spa day” struts are absolutely priceless—these sweet pups either came in for grooming before Thanksgiving or stayed with us over the holiday and are now heading home fresh, clean, and feeling amazing. Our salt-and-pepper sweetheart posed like a seasoned pro, our big brindle boy showed off his handsome trot, and the Aussie duos delivered their usual mix of glamour shots and goofy zoomies. Our scruffy explorer gave us perfect wind-blown ears, and that elegant Doberman pranced around like he owned the runway. We loved making sure everyone went home looking their best after Thanksgiving, and now we’re already filling up fast for Christmas. As Thanksgiving arrives, I find myself looking back over the years, and it’s hard not to get emotional. In 1999, when I started this little dream with 13 clients, I had no idea what I was truly building. I thought I was starting a small pet-care business. I didn’t realize I was starting a family. I didn’t realize I was planting the seeds of something that would grow into a community of people and pets who would change my life in ways I never could have imagined.

Camp Grace didn’t become what it is because of me alone — it became what it is because of you. Every single client who chose to trust us, every dog who ran through our doors with excitement, every person who recommended us to a friend… you all helped shape something beautiful. You helped build a place where dogs are loved fiercely, where people connect deeply, where stories intertwine and memories are made in the simplest moments — a wagging tail, a goodbye kiss, a warm welcome.

I look at our team today — this incredible group of people who pour their whole hearts into Camp Grace — and I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. They love your dogs like their own. They show up with dedication, compassion, and joy that can’t be taught. Together, we’ve created something I never dared dream was possible: a place where love is the backbone of everything.

I’m also so grateful for the friendships and professional connections we’ve made along the way — groomers, trainers, vets, partners, and colleagues who have helped us learn, grow, and dream bigger. Camp Grace has so many moving parts now, so many layers, but every single one of them is held together by the same thing: love. Real, honest, wholehearted love.

To our clients — you are not just customers to us. You are part of our story. You are part of our family. You’ve allowed Camp Grace to become something far greater than a business, and I will never take that for granted. Thank you for standing with us, believing in us, and walking this journey with us. At Camp Grace, every dog who comes for day-stays or boarding already receives tons of playtime and attention—that part will NEVER change. All of our pups enjoy fetch, frisbee, tug, yard time, time playing with new friends, belly rubs, and plenty of love every single day like the pups in these pictures . That’s just who we are, and it’s part of every stay with us. BUT we’re excited to share that we will soon be offering optional Enhanced Playtime and Brain Play sessions for dogs who benefit from a little extra stimulation. These activities are different from regular play—they’re structured sessions that build confidence, encourage problem-solving, and give dogs a new kind of mental and sensory enrichment. These new services are perfect for high-energy dogs, smart dogs who love a challenge, anxious or shy pups who need confidence building, and even seniors who enjoy calm, rewarding activities. Regular playtime will ALWAYS be included, and these new options simply give your dog even more ways to thrive while they’re here at Camp Grace. ❤️🐾

The holidays are coming fast, and Camp Grace is already filling up for both grooming and boarding. Thanksgiving is only 15 days away, and we still have grooming appointments available for all breeds and sizes, so now is the perfect time to schedule your pup’s holiday spa day. Boarding, however, is almost full — we currently only have small-dog boarding spots left for Thanksgiving, and Christmas is booking up just as quickly.
