Thank you for making a grooming appointment with Happy Tails Playcare!
We appreciate your trust in our grooming services for your beloved furry friend. To ensure the smooth operation of our grooming appointments and to provide the best care for your dog, we want to inform you of our guidelines regarding grooming appointments.
When scheduling a grooming appointment, you have two options:
a pick-up/drop-off appointment
Daycare/Grooming Appointment
Let me explain the specifics of each:
Pick-up/Drop-off Appointment:
If you opt for a pick-up/drop-off appointment, please ensure that you adhere to the following:
Drop off your dog at the scheduled time.
Upon completion of the grooming session, you will be notified.
Groom Clients are required to pick up within 30 minutes to 1 hour of receiving the notification that their dog is ready. This is to ensure the comfort and safety of your pet and to accommodate other appointments.
Dropping off early without a daycare appointment or picking up after the 30min-1hr time window will result in a fee.
Early drop-off and late pick-up times can be requested but are subject to our groomer's availability and may incur an additional service charge.
Daycare Appointment:
If you require your dog to stay for daycare and pick up later, you must:
Schedule a daycare booking along with the grooming appointment.
Drop off your dog within the morning daycare drop-off window specified by our facility. M-F (6:30am-9am) Sat. (8am-10am)
Your dog will be groomed during their daycare stay, and you can pick them up when our lobby reopens during daycare pickup time. (M-F 4:30pm-6:30pm) Sat. (3-5pm)
These guidelines are put in place to streamline our operations and provide the highest level of care for your pet. We understand that your time is valuable, and we aim to make the grooming experience as convenient and enjoyable as possible for both you and your dog. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these appointment guidelines.

A gentle reminder that we require all our Daycare, Boarding and Spa Groom dogs to be up to date on their yearly vaccines! Rabies, Distemper/Parvo Booster and Bordetella! Why do we require this? Simply because our goal is to have a safe facility for our pets who stay with us! Any Daycare/Boarding facility or Groomer not requiring these vaccines is a BIG RED FLAG!!! We are shocked when we receive new customers who have previously taken their pups to other facilities, individuals and groomers that don't require them. Ask your vet about the Bordetella Vaccine, and be sure to ask any facility or groomer you may use if they require it. WE DO!!!! Below is a link to read more about Bordetella a.k.a KENNEL COUGH!!!
