Good afternoon everyone! Jessi here, Jennifer gave me permission to make this post. The dog in the photo is the mama dog to my 8-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer puppy, Raya pictured in the photo with me below. Her mom has been missing for about 48 hours at this point. I'm asking anyone in or around the Arkansas Area to share this post, or even if you just know someone from that area please share. Her name is Dolly and her owners are wonderful people. They are afraid at this point that someone probably picked her up because their male dog of the same breed came back home. These are hunting breed of dogs and they know how to travel long distances and come back. We are just hoping that the person who picked her up may have thought that she was abandoned or something because she did not have her collar on at the time due to medical reasons. If this is the case she is microchipped. Very sweet and loving temperament. Let's try to do what we can to bring this dog home to her wonderful owners. Thank you all so much. If anyone happens to see her or finds her please contact Beverly Luck or myself Jessica Metzing and I will get a hold of her! I want to thank everyone for their time in reading this post and anyone who shares it. I also want to thank Jenn for allowing me to post it here so that it has a better chance of being seen by more people in the Arkansas Area. Jenn, I love you, you are the best of all the people that I have ever encountered while peopling! Blessings and peace to everyone! πŸ’œπŸ™πŸ»

Good morning everyone, my name is Jessi and I have gotten permission from Jennifer to share my personal experience with all of you. I'm hoping that this might help perspective new clients the most just get a more personal idea of what type of trainer and person Jenn is. I knew and worked with Jennifer on a professional level before I ever got to know her on a personal level. This is me and my dog Willow, Willow is a 4-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, more commonly referred to as a Blue Heeler. I have a disability which currently confines me to a wheelchair. Prior to bringing her to Jenn's Willow was a loving ridiculously smart dog who I could teach many things because of how smart the breed is, but she did not care in the slightest about the word no lol, like I'm talking none at all, y'all. She also had tons of energy! It is a working dog breed, after all. But Jennifer taught me that love did not equal respect, Willow loves me more than anything in the world, but at this time she did not respect me. This was because of my disability and due to that my inability to back up what I was telling her to do and not do. I also had gotten her just a few months after my mom had unexpectedly passed away in a car accident at this time I couldn't deal with people and my anxiety got atrociously bad so I retreated into my own little world where it was just me and Willow. Because of this she developed a really bad habit of resource guarding me from other people this was from anybody that didn't live in my household and the other dogs too, even the other one that lived in my household. The good news is this hadn't developed into full blown aggression yet. She never actually bit down. Never broke skin or even left a mark on dog or person, but it was still a very rude and nerve-racking behavior. This behavior consisted of growling, snapping at and chasing other dogs away from me. It was tempered down with people she would mostly just growl. Jennifer helped me to socialize her and see that I was a big part of the problem. You see, when I would get nervous because of Willow's reactions...Willow would pick up on this and it would make the behavior worse. Because she didn't realize that I was nervous because of her behavior. All she knew was I got tense when this dog or this person came close to me. Willow is now my service dog! She goes into stores with me, restaurants, she can pick up and hand me things. In short, she is now the best creature ever on planet Earth, and yes, I'm totally biased. But she still will try to do this reactive behavior from time to time, particularly with other dogs if we haven't been around other dogs for a while. She's still herding breed. But she comes out of it pretty quickly once she's reminded that that is not allowed. I would not have been able to keep and train my best friend in dog form without Jennifer's help. It would have developed into full blown aggression if not for Jennifer. I have known Jennifer for going on 4 years now. We have become very close friends. And she is one of my favorite people ever, and to be honest with you all I don't really like a lot of people like that lol. I'm not religious, I'm spiritual. But I do believe everything happens for a reason, and if Willow had been the easiest dog to handle from the get-go I would have never met Jennifer, I would have never gotten into dog training myself, and I probably would have never came out of the darkness bubble from my mom's passing. I love Jenn. She was there for me when she barely knew me and she's been there for me even more so since we've gotten closer. She is my sister now and I wouldn't trade that for anything! Hope this helps anybody reading it. Sorry it was so long lol!

Good afternoon everyone, I feel the need for some clarification on the previous post since it seemed to generate so much attention. The changes I was referring to have to do with becoming more efficient mainly on the technological side of things. For example, keeping Facebook updated more frequently with photos and posts, getting back to you all in the more timely manner, and just wanting to be more efficient in general. I apologize for any confusion the vague language may have caused any of you. We are a family here at all dog obedience, and I believe that all of you know how much I care about you and your fur babies. I appreciate all the support that has been given to me and and thank you all very much! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜ŠπŸΆ

*Disclaimer*
Hey everyone, we here at All Dog Obedience want to remind everyone that when you bring a dog in for training, there may have to be some alterations once you take your pet home. Home environments and several different life factors can cause different outcomes than at our office. Please be understanding that the training started here must be practiced regularly and additional instructions may be needed to get the wanted/needed outcome in your home. Once you take your pet home, we are available if there are any problems, questions, or concerns. Please send a text to (812)483-1632 or call (870)520-5109. It is our end goal to get you and your pup to your desired outcome.

Showcase today is just a short clip showing that sometimes stay is just as good without the distance. This shows a stay with distractions and all we want is the dog not to leave the area and chase what's got her attention.

11/21/2022

Once our dogs have reached a level of confidence within the yard we go out and give them a little bit more freedom on a long line to make sure they can do the same with distractions!πŸ‘

When you set the dogs up to do something cool in group ( like all 3 catch at the same time haha) and they all fail it makes for a great slow motion video haha...we love our daycare playtime πŸ’›

A couple weeks ago nick brought his drone to video some training for us. One video he got was what the play yard looks like during the day from the sky lol

Showcase today is working on Amaya's Public Access Training and Manners. She needs to be able to wait in lines and stay laying under the table in public restraunts. This training will desensitize her to surroundings and help her to focus on the work that we will train her to do later for services.
