Someone called today to ask me how it felt to have the 4th Annual Course in the Corn winner in my barn….and I’m not sure if they meant Whiskey or Jenny Gryder…..but the answer is the same either way:

You know, every time I think we have had the time of our lives….we go on and do it again! ❤️

We had the very best time today at the 4th annual with our team. All of our riders improved their times drastically between their first and last runs and we ended the day with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fastest times.

Thank you, as always to Fender’s Farm and Sarah and Jared for putting on such an incredible event!

It was an awesome year for our home show series and we so appreciate the support of our local barns, trainers and riders! We will be hosting our annual year-end banquet here at JEC this December, date TBA. All are welcome - come have a good feed and celebrate all of the riders that worked so hard this season!

The SUPER HORSE Award was a close, close race this year! Lazy Sunday Morning & Dylan Parker clinched it with 133 points, closely followed by Quiet Prediction & Emma Gryder with 128 points. Rikki Bobby & Hailey Helm came in 3rd with 111 points, Zippy Hot Rolex with several different riders came in 4th with 105 points, Hershey Kiss & Lorelei Osborne were 4th with 102 points and Pinto Bean finished off the top 6 with several riders with 101 points!

We had an all-around amazing day yesterday for our series finals: a huge turnout, perfect weather, perfect ponies, good eats and just a fantastic time enjoying each other and our horses!

Many thanks to our friend and Judge, Jan Bellows, who traveled from NC. Thank you to our local barns for your support of our series - we sure do have a good time with you all!

We’re calculating points for year-end and Superhorse Awards and will hold our awards banquet in December, date and details announcing soon!

Our 2024 Halloween Costume Contest did not disappoint! The kids went all out and we had some super fun costumes! This years winning combo went to Little Red Riding Hood and her Big, Bad Wolf!

Why these horses allow us to be their humans….is beyond me! ❤️
