Me too...rather organize, but they are different.

What about you?

Many of my potential clients search for a cleaner, but really need an organizer first to find homes for things to make it easier to clean (or have a cleaner over since they tend to shove things into baskets or open spaces instead of think about the space and where things need to go).

Cleaning and organizing are two seperate things, but sometimes you can’t do one without the other because they are connected.

Cleaning: is removing dust, dirt and grime.

Organizing: is purging, sorting, containing and maintaining your stuff.

I’d much rather organize! HBU?

🤩This past week I got to do the following:

*put away Christmas for 3 households
*organize jewelry making supplies
*put away Christmas wrap and gifts
*do 2 new client assessments
*organize/declutter the mud room/drop zone
*begin sorting new baby clothes for a nesting pregnant mom
*organize/declutter a garage
*organize/declutter a laundry room/pet supplies and space
*organize/declutter a home office

I love that I get to work with such amazing clients that are fantastic moms that care so much about their families, homes, and the people around them.❤️

Everyday I talk to moms that are burnt out on emotional labor that is household management including ALL the things with the children and household. Here's some ideas (not all work for everyone) and at least made me feel seen and I hope it does for you too!

It never ceases to astound how the duties of running a household are, by and large, considered a mother’s domain . Now often referred to as “ emotional labor ,” this burden is getting a lot more attention these days.

What to do with parts👍

Today I worked with clients who might move eventually. They want to start downsizing so when they do move it won’t be a large project.

We sorted out the basement utility shelf today and came up with two types of parts boxes. That way when it comes time to pack we know which box stays behind!
