We raise our puppies in our living room following puppy culture protocol so they are well socialized and ready for life in a family. Our Family
Our family is Andrew (Dad), Katie (Mom), and our teenager son and daughter, along with our two Miniature Schnauzers, Oliver and Lucy. We love to go to the park, travel (with Oliver and Lucy when ever possible of course), play games, and have fun together!

Our kids love being involved in whelping and raising Lucy's puppies! Best Practices in Breeding
We follow best practices in responsible breeding. We do all CHIC recommended health tests, including optional tests. Our puppies are whelped and raised in our living room. They are loved and held by all of us. We provide a written guarantee of health and will take a puppy back and find a second home for it if a family is unable to care for it. Guarantee
Puppies come with 30 day return for a full refund (minus $200 deposit fee) if you are unhappy with your puppy for any reason. After 30 days, if a family's situation changes and they no longer are able or willing to care for their puppy, we will take the dog back and find another home for it. Your puppy comes with a 7 year guarantee from inherited defects. Please read our full health guarantee for details.

Lya is getting better by the minute. Very smart dog. She is happy and running a lot around the back yard. Ellie is slowly but surely getting used to her. First couple of days were a little tense for Ellie but we figured out ways of easing her and we think is working really well.

From Poppy's new family:

"First night was a success! She did not want to be zipped in the crate, but we were trying the cloth crate up in our room. And we didn't work with her at all before we tried to go to bed. She would go in it, but then ended up sleeping on the floor right beside it for the first half of the night. Second half of the night she stayed in it with the door open. I know it won't take long. She also found the ground level mirrors in our room which confused her! I took her out at 2:30 am and she peed. When ---- got up and walked by her she barked and whined bc she couldn't see him. But ----- got up right after that and took her out and played with her....We love her. She's SO sweet!"

We are learning to sit calmly for attention or when we want something, rather than jump and whine! It's a work in progress!

We finally have enough teeth to eat kibble for breakfast! We are seven weeks old and will be ready for our new homes May 8-12! Blue ribbon and green ribbon available.

Can cats and schnauzers get along? Yes! Absolutely! But it depends on the particular cat and the particular schnauzer!
