Last night some Tri State members were asked to fill in a programming slot for the Newton County 4H lock-in. The theme was dogs. Our presentation included information about agility, barn hunt, dock diving and demos on scent work, rally, conformation, obedience, and weight pull. They were a fantastic group!!! Thank you so much for having us!

We are pleased to announce a beginner class for Scent Work!!! This 6 week class will be taught by AKC Judge Misty Bowen!!! Students will meet at the club building while Misty will instruct remotely via Zoom. This class will begin Wednesday, January 22nd at 6:30 PM. The class fee of $100 will include a beginner kit including an airtight box. Hurry! This class is filling fast.

Raffle baskets have been made and they are NICE!!! Thank you Kathy Moore for making these lovely bows for us!!! Thank you Kali Sweet, Lynn Simmons, Janet Bartholomew, Joan Gardner, Mary Patton, Cecilia Bartholet, Lisa Brown, and Chris Morey for assembling these lovely baskets. Trust me, you will want to bring money for this raffle!

Our first AKC Fetch Trials were a success! We will hold another weekend of Fetch Trials in the Spring! We'd like to acknowledge the first teams to earn titles with us at TSKC! Donna Jack/Floyd Prather & Tea got a Novice Title! Mike Fields & Happi got an Intermediate Title! Kim Anderson & Harper got a Retriever Title! A big congratulations to Renee Sanders with her 3 dogs earning a Novice Title with Tori and Intermediate titles with Bria & Kiva! Our first 3 club members to receive titles were Amber Chrysler & Krypto, Lana Casady & Dizzy, Kayte Dunaway & Mac all receiving Novice Titles! Congratulations everyone! Thank you to the TSKC team. TSKC will accept day-of entries on Saturday 10/19 & Sunday 10/20 from 7 - 7:30 a.m. for our Fetch Trials. 10/19 is 2 Novice & Intermediate Tests and 10/20 is 2 Advanced & Retriever Tests. Come join us!
