Home school Horsemanship program will begin in September. The program will be offered on Tuesdays starting 9/10 or 9/17. The program runs for 4 consecutive weeks and is an hour class. We have helmets and boots to borrow. Depending on interest I might add another day of classes.

If you aren’t interested in the program but lessons (private, semi or group) then they will start the week of 9/10.

We said goodbye to “Lady” today. She was so sweet and always first at the gates to greet you. Her favorite game was grabbing the ponies tails when they were finished eating dinner.
We were lucky enough my sister found her as a stray 10+ years ago. We will miss her dearly!

If you are looking for a great introduction to horses, our horsemanship class is perfect!

We spend half of each class learning horse care and the other half riding. (They will ride every class)
We are going to offer an additional horsemanship class on Tuesdays at 1pm starting 4/30.
I have 2 kids interested and only need 1-2 more to hold the class!
It’s an hour long class that will be held for four consecutive Tuesdays for $190. Offer a sibling discount. IF we get rained out, we will add another class. We have helmets and boots to borrow.

Home Schoolers- We are going to offer one more horsemanship program for the school year starting next Tuesday 4/25 at 12 or 2pm. Class meets every Tuesday for 4 consecutive weeks. Open to ages 5+. It’s $190/per participant but will offer a small sibling discount.

We spend half of EACH class learning horse care and then they ride!

If you’re not looking to commit to the 4 week program we offer private, semi private and group lessons. Come try us out with No commitment!

We are located in Joppa (Harford County)

The rain didn’t slow us down this week!

Trail riding in Montana with the family. Crossing the River was one of the craziest things I’ve seen a horse do before. Their balance going through those huge rocks was unbelievable!

A huge thanks to Dalaney for bringing her horse, Lover! I felt like a kid again. Haven’t jumped like that in a LONG time! Didn’t get the striding but was super fun!!

Sun finally came out for a kickball game today. We used to love playing in school.

It was fun having a friend visit for Farm Day.

Holiday Give Away!!! Help a child in need experience horseback riding this holiday season! Magnolia Acres Farm will be holding a giveaway and will draw the names of 5 children in need, to receive a FREE private riding lesson. We are asking for nominations of children whom are in need. In the spirit of the holiday season, please only nominate those that are less fortunate. You may nominate one child that you know, but please ensure your nominee is someone financially unable to cover the cost of a riding lesson. Please email your nominations to [email protected] Please post and share on Facebook. Winners will be drawn by 10/12 to ensure there is time to mail gift certificates out before Christmas! Farm Days will be held this Fall when public schools are closed on 9/16 & 10/15. Join us for a one day camp from 9-4pm hanging with our ponies. Everyone will have a riding lesson, lots of hands on horse activities , Fall craft, games and bareback riding. Space is limited.
